Just Breathe…

I have to admit that I accomplished nothing except rest today. Through the recent bread making and canning, I’ve still been suffering with this stinking back pain.

I’m calling my doctor today, and all I otherwise intend to do is sit in a comfy chair and stitch. I’m hopeful we’ll figure this out and I’ll be able to share my Everlasting quilt top.

Coffee or tea? I don’t much care. I just need to sit down. I’ll see you again tomorrow.

    1. Hi Marilyn-
Isn’t that the truth? Chin up (for all of us). I have to believe it will get better…including my back. I’m already over this back thing. What a pain! Thanks for your good wishes.

  3. Oh dear, I'm so sorry your back is continuing to give you grief. Perhaps a good chiropractor might be able to help? Either way I hope you get relief soon.
And I love that wonderful quote and illustration!

    1. Hi MA-
Yes. I don’t like being incapacitated one little bit. I’m trying e-stim (a pain management electric stimulation apparatus ordered for my knee last year). It seemed to help a bit today, so I’m repeating it before bed and will use it to see if it can hasten healing for me.
Thanks for your concern. (Isn’t the image sweet?)

  4. Sherry of createology: I adore this illustration and quote. Back pain is very debilitating and just takes all your energy out of you. I pray you get relief very soon.

    1. Hi Sherry-
Thank you for your prayers. It sure is getting old. For one thing (and most importantly) it makes it painful to reach up to kiss Handsome. I’m so glad he’ll sit down so I can cuddle with him. ❤️

  5. I'm sorry to hear that your back is giving you grief. Back pain is not fun and can be quite tricky to diagnose. Here's hoping it resolves quickly. Take care my friend.

    1. Thank you, dear Marrianne. I thought I had it figured out, only to find out the pain may have another cause. I’ll tell you, I’m completely sick of it. I have to much to do to have to deal with back issues. Maybe it’ll be better tomorrow. 🤞🏻 Big Hugs,
