And So It Begins...

First Two Borders For Wall Hanging

I spent the day in the studio assembling the first part of my bluebird wall hanging yesterday. If you've been following along, you may notice that many of my fabric choices changed. I decided to stick with more subtle colors. The batik I showed you will still be used as the outside border and back, but I'm only showing the borders and fabric choices (along the right side) for the half square triangles which will be the next border. I may add a few other appropriate fabrics as I assemble them.

There's a little tension in the fabric where I stitched the fencing, which is a bit disappointing. I tried very hard to keep my fabric taut in the hoop, and not pull too much when I was stitching, but alas, I still have to fine tune my technique. It should disappear when I do the quilting in this area, so I'm not too concerned at this point.

I placed the feathers that will be in the half square triangle bands on the corners of the main block to show you where I've yet to stitch them directly onto the fabric. The feathers on the main block will be larger than the ones you see here, but not significantly bigger. I kept this block the same size as my other two wall hangings (the robins and the cardinals) so their sizes will be consistent. The next one with the goldfinches will be the same, too. I'll stitch in those feathers after the next border is sewn to what's already done.

I got this much finished so far, and today I'll begin making all the half square triangles for the next section. The golden brown border you see here will be the same width as the darker border (1/2") after the next border is added.

I work tonight, so I'm not sure whether or not I'll get the next border attached today. I'll surely try. Otherwise, I'll get to it asap. I'm sure you can tell now that I'd love to race to the finish line. I just want to make sure I get it right, and that it turns out the way I want it too.

Oh, just a note. It was a conscious decision to avoid a lot of blues. I really don't want to take anything away from the needlework. What do you think so far? You like the colors I've chosen? Let me know.

Folding Fabrics...

I'm on a roll now! I've been folding fabrics that will either be listed in my Etsy shop, or will be shipped off for donation. This is just a sampling of those that will be shipped for donation on Monday.

Now that I've wholeheartedly jumped into decluttering, I'm motivated to keep going. What don't I want to store or dust anymore? Is it worth my time to list for sale? Is there really a great reason to keep this? Is this something someone in our family would like now or in the future? If so, could I just give it to them now? Would someone enjoy it more than I? If we were to move again, would it be worth packing to take with us? These are the questions I ask myself every time I look at, move, or clean something now. It sure is making it easier to send things on their way.

There are more fabrics in the original photo than what I've shared here, so I'm going to pack this box first, and then start another batch to send toward the end of next week. I know I've written this before, but I wasn't fully committed to letting go until recently. This summer will be the season for real change. You'll be seeing more of this in the future.

It's difficult to believe it's the weekend again already, and that we're starting June - the middle of the year! Will someone please slow down time for me? I'm getting dizzy, it's passing so fast! Happy Saturday. I hope you do something fun this weekend!

New In The Lineup...

When I'm bag making, I like to use the same lining fabrics in all my bags, unless I'm doing some specialty ones - like a Harry Potter or Tolkein-themed bag. I just received a shipment of new linings for my next bags. In fact, I really like these so much, I may have to make a bag or two with these as the exterior fabric. I'd just give them a Scotchgard™ treatment after sewing.

These are all slub canvas, which is heavier than quilting cotton, therefore not requiring stabilizer to make them more sturdy. I also choose lighter colored fabrics so it's easier to locate the contents of the bag. I rarely use a dark color unless requested for custom bags. I'm looking forward to using these.

It's been in the high 30s and 40s since the weekend, and most of the snow that was on the ground has melted. Today, however, we've got another winter weather advisory with snow predicted to fall this afternoon. I sure wish Mother Nature would make up her mind! Morning tea and then Tag, Bella and I have to run out for a few things before the weather turns. See you tomorrow!

Opossums and Friends...

I spent Monday working on swapping closets so the contents match the purpose of the room. My clothes are now in my new bedroom, and sewing supplies are in the room that is now my studio. I have much to sort through and purge, so this is going to take longer than just one day. I was gassed mid-afternoon and called it quits for the day.

I put a leash on the Corgi, and took him and Bella for a short walk and then let them run around a bit. These fabrics were waiting for me in the mailbox. When I feel the sewing machine calling to me (maybe next week), I'll turn these into new Matty Two-Zip bags. For now, I'll just look at them.

Production Begins Today...

I begin production today for all the luscious items that will be stocked into my booth in February. As it is a quilt show, I'll have many quilty-themed items, along with sewing and wool work designs. These are a few of the fabrics I'll cut into first.

Upper left is from my friend, Michelle Palmer's fabric lines, fashioned after her incredible artwork. These will become Bryn Clutch Wallets. Upper right are fabrics destined for wool work totes. Lower right are needlework/sewing themed, and of course, lower left are quilt themed fabrics from Kathy Schmitz' line. From my last show poll, many of these fabrics will be turned into sewing organizers to hold supplies.

I haven't made the tri-fold sewing organizers since living in Florida. I taught classes for that piece at Crazy Quilters in Venice at the time. Now, I'm going to make a bunch of them for my booth. These are all first on my production schedule. Other wallets, handbags, totes, my new Matty Clutch design, and even "bum bags" will also join the list.

I usually make tea in the morning when Handsome is away, so this morning will either be a nice, hot cuppa, or perhaps I'll start the day with toast and a hot chocolate. Either way, I'll be cutting a lot of fabric after that. Update to follow soon.

Coming In February...

Some of the new fabrics for 2023 Brynwood creations arrived today. These will become wallets, organizers, handbags. travelers and totes. New items will be completed in January, with some appearing in my online shop. The rest will be featured in my booth in February at the Wisconsin Quilt Show.

Grammie's Jammies are completed, and waiting to be gifted to our grandchildren. I'll share photos of them on Monday, when they'll be in the hands of their recipients. We start celebrating today. Decorations going up, and goodies baking in the kitchen.

Safe Travels and Holiday Blessings to all my Brynwood family. I'm so grateful for all of you!

It Was A Busy Indoor Day...

It's not like I didn't get outside. I spent my "breaks" with Claudette and Crystal, as well as showering the pups with lots of attention. Tag was sleeping on his bed in my studio while I worked up here. And, I wasn't just sitting around all day either.

I was in the fabric studio, and have a few more items listed. These three assortments are now listed in my Etsy shop. (You can visit through the Etsy link in my sidebar.)

I'll be doing more of the same today. Breaking up with my fabrics is a hard thing to do, but I'm focused and determined. We'll get there. Slow and Steady wins the race.

Coming Soon...

New Fabrics Heading To The Shop This Week
I'm sorting fabrics again, and this is just a sampling of some of the yardage that will be heading to my Etsy shop very soon.

My sister, Di came over on Monday, asking that I do my second least favorite task in the entire crafting world for her. Of course, I sucked it up and said "yes". She came out to the farmhouse with tracing fabric and a pattern that she wants to sew for her farmer's market booths. She's going to be making aprons for children and adults, so there were multiple parts and pieces to trace onto her stabilizer-type fabric.

I stood at my cutting table (and then moved down to the kitchen island), tracing all the lines, pattern marks and information onto each piece while we visited. It was great spending the time with her, and she really was grateful, but I was gassed by the time we were finished.

(BTW-My least favorite task is cutting out pattern pieces prior to sewing garments - or anything really - together.)

I hugged her and said I'd see her later in the week, grabbed my cuppa, and put my feet up for a while. Once I'd rested a bit, Tag told you how we went on a short hike. It was a beautiful day for it, and I was glad to have done it - the favor for my sister and the walk.

I'm working on pulling together all our tax documents this week, but I'm going to list up fabric when I take breaks from the bookwork. I'll start with a few of these today, and add more as the week progresses. Who knows? You might find something you can't live without!

Have a great day!

Production Sewing Tuesday...

Five Adult Bib Fabric Combinations

I got a request at about 4:30 on Tuesday afternoon for a couple adult bibs with pockets across the bottom. I knew they would make life easier for the recipient, so I chose my fabrics, pulled the pattern from my cabinet and started cutting them out.

Rather than just "a couple", I pulled fabric for five bibs. This is the pattern we used in Florida when our guild, the Disconnected Piecers Quilt Guild in Port Charlotte) used to make them for nursing homes and for the guild sales boutique at our quilt shows. The only difference was that the pattern didn't call for the bottom pocket. I simply measured two pieces of fabric by the width of the bib and cut the bottom curves to match the curves on the bottom of the main bib pieces. That way the pockets had linings.

I set all the pieces up and proceeded to production-sew the five bibs, and by 10 pm Tuesday evening, all five bibs were cut, sewn, ironed, topstitched, and had the velcro closures for the neck tabs sewn in. I neatly folded, stacked, tied with a ribbon, and wrapped for the recipient.

They were delivered yesterday. I managed to take these photographs before packaging them so I could share the combinations with you. Handsome suggested at least one of them should be "whimsical fabric", so that explains the dog fabrics. Do you see the corgis? (Hint: You'll see them in the closeup photograph of the dog fabric below. They''re orange and white, and located next to black and white dogs where they appear.) Below are closeups of all the combinations.

Fruit and Green Print Fabrics

I'm so grateful that I'm able to accomplish a small job like this as quickly as I can for the benefit of someone else. I know they'll be used and appreciated. I've already offered to make more (which I'll likely do in the next week) so that when some are in the laundry, there are still options for clean ones to use.

Today, I think I'll plan out a new stitching project. I'll let you see what I decide on tomorrow.

It Was A Good, Good Day...

My Japanese Fabrics

I really appreciate the comments left for me yesterday. You made me smile, so Thank You! Today was much better. I accomplished a lot.

I spent the day in the fabric studio, sorting fabric and tossing sooo much paper. (I thought computers were supposed to eliminate all the paper?) It looks 1000% better in there now, so I know that I accomplished something, and I feel good about that.

I'm making my daily list again, and tomorrow I'm going to share a declutter schedule I came across ages ago from another blog. I'll give you links so you can pull the schedule for yourself. We can even do this together if you'd like!

I've separated things that are going to donation, family, and for sale. For now, I'm going to just sit back with my morning coffee, and admire my hard work. Then, I'll get back to my next project...sorting out more fabrics.

January DeClutter Goal Reached...

January Accomplished!

Goal: 22 Items • Actual: 53 Items

Last year, I pulled a number of bolts of fabric that were coming out of my studio - one way or the other. They were first previewed by a friend for trade and/or donations. These were bolts that weren't chosen.

My second option was to list them for sale, but after stumbling over them in my fabric studio for nearly three months, I decided to give them to another worthy cause. My younger sister has taken to quilting! Just before Thanksgiving, she came to visit me so that I could give her some pointers. She ended up creating seven beautiful quilts for her grandchildren. Now she has the "bug", and I want to help fuel her new interest.

Before she left the farmhouse yesterday, we loaded 45 bolts of fabric into the back of her vehicle. She was thrilled to have all that fabric, and she said her head was just swimming with ideas for new creations...from napkins to quilts. She couldn't have been more grateful, and I was happy to regain the floor space.

I also pulled a few items from my closet (with more planned for February), and some duplicate kitchen tools are now in a donation box that I'll add to until the box is full. Then, I'll be taking that to St. Vincent de Paul to benefit others.

I'm feeling pretty good about now. My fabric studio is pure chaos, so I'm going to continue pulling fabrics for preview, sale, and donation. I'm going to pull notions, as well. I think February is going to be busy, but I'm excited to think about how fabulous my creative spaces will be once this is done.

Nocturne Overnight Bag(s)...

Brynwood "Nocturne" Overnight Bag - Traveler Fabric

This one is finished, and I can't wait to show you the fabrics I've chosen for the others I'll be offering next weekend. I'm not sure which one I'll love the most! Photos on Monday.

Have a great weekend. I'll be one busy bee!

Studio Tasks...

Packaged and Posted

I spent an entire day in the fabric studio. I measured, cut, folded, packaged, labeled, and ledgered. Once the appointed fabrics were handled, I boxed, weighed, posted and sealed them for shipment.

Today, I'll be taking the other fabrics I pulled off the shelves to photograph and list in my online shop. This is hard work. Not because it's labor-intensive, but because I see these fabrics again and remember what I love about them. So far, I'm resisting any temptation to put them back on the shelf. I remind myself that they really should go to homes where they'll be used, and not just loved and looked at by me.

I have a hair appointment mid-afternoon, but then I'll continue my task. I should have everything listed up by the weekend, but you'll be able to see them as they're listed, starting later today. Who knows, you might just find something you like!

My Sewing Studio...

Brynwood Needleworks - Sewing Studio

I'm going to call this cleaning process mostly "done" for now. I actually have clear surfaces (tables and floors), so it's my Happy Place again.

Brynwood Needleworks - Sewing Studio

This large tote ( as well as the smaller one on the floor) in front of my studio door is filled with items I'm going to share, either through sale, donation or gift. I'll be doing more with it next week, but for now, it's in the sewing studio so I can photograph them and get measurements. (I have a second, filled tote in the hallway.)

Brynwood Needleworks - Sewing Studio

I have orders that came in yesterday that I'll create to ship on Monday, and then I'll get back to the other project I've been working on (more purple!).

Today, I'm going to meet one of my dad's cousins I'm not sure I've met in person before. I met her son at Dad's Celebration of Life last summer. He and I have kept in touch since. Last week, he invited me to his mom's home for a visit. He thought I'd enjoy meeting her and then watching the video together that I created for Dad's memorial, so I could explain to her who appeared in the video and perhaps the events that inspired the images. I'm looking forward to it.

When Dad was still alive and before he got sick, he used to drive the half hour from his home to hers, and then take her out to lunch. It will be nice to speak with someone who was my dad's contemporary and hear her stories of him. I think this would make Dad very happy.

I'm going to stop and order new prescription glasses on this trip, too. I had an eye appointment last week, and my Rx changed slightly. The frames that held my last pair of progressive lens fell apart, so I've been wearing my bifocals. I swear, I almost fall down the stairs wearing them, and there's no good mid-distance viewing area if I'm out shopping (or using my computer). I need to get back to my progressive lenses for my own safety!

All in all, I know it's going to be a great day for a drive up the Fox River Valley. I'll try to remember to take pictures to share.

My Piling System...

Brynwood Needleworks - Fabric Studio Chaos

I'm still sorting...and cleaning...and I'm tired. I took Sunday off and just rested. There's a whole lot more in this room than I'm sharing in this single image. You can see I still have organizing to do here, and the closet in this room is where I discovered the fabric that I thought was gone. I'm sure more treasures will surface as I continue working in here.

Brynwood Needleworks - Sewing Studio Chaos

While I'm cleaning out this room, I'm still shipping orders and doing my computer work. I need to keep a little free space to be able to do that. I vacillate between keeping and tearing out those cupboards. This room was an upstairs kitchen at one time, and the cupboards are the remains of that function.

I look at the storage they provide, or wonder whether or not the beautiful maple floors go all the way to the wall if I take them away, and decide I'd better keep them where they are (at least for now). Then, I decide I'd better focus on my tasks, or this is going to take a lot longer.

Brynwood Needleworks - Orderly Thread

I have sorted my threads by manufacturer and color into the DMC cabinets I used to have in my shop. Valdani™in the first four, then DMC™ 8 in the next four, DMC™ 12 and 5 in a single drawer, Sulky™ 12 spools, and the bottom two drawers hold more machine embroidery threads. Aren't they pretty?

Brynwood Needleworks - Floss Cabinet

I also cleaned up my antique spool cabinet, adding my Anchor™ pearl cotton balls to the DMC™ and Anchor™ floss, and a few other specialty threads. Small accomplishments, with more to do.

I have quite a few bolts of fabric pulled now to donate, or photograph and list. I need to clean my counters off first. In the meantime, I'm taking the chance to show you that I'm just like you. Sometimes my workspace looks like a bomb went off. It's not always "Better Homes and Gardens" or "Where Women Create". Sometimes, it's just an embarrassing, chaotic mess of creative supplies.

It's okay. I'll get this back under control again. It won't take much longer. Another day or so and we'll be good to go. I should be able to start listing up fabric by the end of the week.

I'm glad I have Tag to take up a little slack for me tomorrow. I hope he has something polite planned for tomorrow (for a change). We'll have to see. In the meantime, I'm going to have a cuppa coffee and get back to my sorting. I'll see you again on Wednesday.

Booyah!!!...

Brynwood Needleworks - BW Exclusive Strawberry Sachet - Hydrangeas

One of the benefits of doing a deep dive into my studio supplies is that I'm finding things long-buried and forgotten (or lost). I was sure that I was on the last few scraps of a fabric I adore for making my strawberry sachets. Don't get me wrong. I like the linen a lot, but my first choice has always been this creamy white fabric.

I decided to empty a closet in my fabric studio. I knew that there were fabrics on rolls I want to donate, so I started pulling all the beautiful pieces into the light. One of the rolls that ended up with my bridal/formal fabrics was this fabric! I have at least a yard of 60" fabric...maybe even two yards!

This discovery alone was worth the work I did yesterday. I think I have about a dozen bolts and three rolls of fabric pulled to list. I also have books, patterns and notions I'll be making available, too. I'm going back into my Square account to see about setting up a storefront. I promise I'll keep everyone updated about what I do, and make links that will be available to all. Thanks for your input yesterday, because it helped me see that this is probably my best option.

Square also has a new feature that will allow me to share items right here on my blog, with an attached purchase button that you can click to buy. This could be really wonderful for some of my Exclusive Brynwood pieces in the future.

I still have a lot of work ahead of me, but I really made a huge dent yesterday. I think I'm going to need to buy just a few storage containers so that I can move the offerings into my freshly-cleaned attic space for holding (until sold) out of my studio rooms. I'm going to run out this morning to find some, and then I'll be able to get a little more sorting accomplished over the weekend. Lots to do, so I best get after it. Of course, coffee first. wink See you later!

A Nice Day For A Chat...

Brynwood Needleworks - Liljegren's Hickory Hill Farm - Turning Leaves

Even though we always expect it in Wisconsin, it's still a little bittersweet when Summer yields to Autumn. That's taking into account that Autumn is my favorite time of year, too! Our stately maple in the front yard has begun turning color. The sky was Handsome's and my favorite...dark sky backdrop with sunshine in the foreground. Can you see it?

While the weather was brisk and breezy outdoors, I spent most of the day cleaning our attic. For at least the short term, when we bring in the "acorn bed", the farmhouse bed will be set up in the clean, walk-up  attic space. It won't be the only thing I have in mind, but it's going to be a while before I share any of that with you.

By the end of the day, I was gassed. A cup of tea, an Ibuprofen, and putting my feet up for a spell. Then, Handsome said, let's just go out to grab a bite to eat. Exactly what I needed! I ended the day with quite the sense of accomplishment.

So, now, let me tell you what else I have in mind. Fabrics (and more) are taking over two rooms in the upstairs. They're my two studio spaces. Some Most of the fabrics I couldn't sew through if I lived to be one hundred fifty. Likewise with many of my quilting/sewing books. There are some things I really want to make, but the rest I've decided to let go. I want to spend more time with my needlework, and sometimes I'll incorporate it into my sewing projects, but I'll keep more of those items, and make space by letting the fabrics go.

I'm going to keep the fabric lines for those projects I know I'll make; the cork fabric and coordinates for my handbags, wallets and such; and other things like that. I'm going to sort through my books and the rest of the fabrics, with the plan that I'm going to donate some things and list up the rest to sell.

Because I want to part with these things at reasonable prices, I don't really want to list them up on Etsy. I'm contemplating opening a special group on Facebook with the express purpose of promoting my items to sell. If I don't go through Facebook, I'll bite the bullet and figure out how to open a shop space through my Square account. Either way, buyers could safely and securely use their credit cards, but I wouldn't have the piled on fees levied by Etsy. I'd love feedback on this. I'm open to other ideas if you have some.

I'm almost shocked that it's already Friday again. Is someone stealing other days of the week? Are we missing a few of the early months? Someone, please slow down time. I have too much yet to accomplish this year!! I guess I'd better get busy.

Today, I'll be in the fabric studio, pulling bolts of fabric and setting them aside to photograph - and my donation pile, too. I know it won't be easy. Some of these bolts are like old friends, but I know it's time to bite the bullet and let a lot of these beautiful cottons go to new homes. I really hope you'll take the time to give me feedback on your ideas of the best way to accomplish this. (Thanks in advance!)

Oh, one more thing. In case you're wondering how I'm managing to get these projects done with this knee of mine, I need to share something I decided to try. In the past, Handsome has shared his ice pump machine. I sit in a chair with the cooling pad wrapped around my knee. Once the pump is turned on, ice water circulates up through the pad to offer up some serious relief. Twenty to thirty minutes on, and then twenty to thirty minutes off. Great help, but limited (like no) mobility. I have to sit in the chair the entire time.

Three days ago, on a whim, I tried a Turmeric capsule (only one a day). I actually took my first one at dinnertime. The next morning, I realized that my limp and attendant discomfort was greatly diminished. I told Handsome I was looking forward to seeing how I felt after a week of this therapy. I was on my feet all day yesterday, pushing a vacuum, lifting boxes, and moving things around. I was sore, but not in pain like I have been these past few months. Turmeric (at least for me) seems to be a minor miracle.

I'm not promoting it for others. I'm not remotely qualified to do that, but I know that Turmeric is an anti-inflammatory. I can say that (with only three days of using it) it sure is working for me. I don't think I'll go back to wearing my high heels any time soon, but walking without a pronounced limp is a real blessing. I just thought I'd share that today.

Reading this back, I see that this post is a potpourri of words. This is what happens when I sit and chat with my BFF. I've always said that writing my blog posts is like sharing a cuppa tea with a good friend. I guess this is the best example of that. Hope you've got a coffee or tea handy while you're reading this. I could use a plate of cookies right about now. How about you?

I Don't Know How It Happens...

Brynwood Needleworks - Upcoming Fabric Listings

Well, actually I have a pretty good idea. I was pulling fabrics to list for sale in my Etsy shop when I realized I didn't have a clear surface for photographing them. My studio is a sty again! Don't worry. I'm not going to show photos. Just suffice it to say that chaos reigned supreme.

So, even though it was in the 90s yesterday, none of the air conditioners are installed yet (I'm resisting as long as I can), and it was dog-kicking hot upstairs, I set about cleaning my creative spaces. One down. One to go.

In the meantime, I almost have a clean counter for photography, and I'll be listing these fabrics in my shop over the weekend. I also have some finished projects to list, and more in my head.

What's on your agenda today?

Studio Fun...

Brynwood Needleworks - Fabric Studio Corner

This is the view from my cutting table toward the corner of my fabric studio. I really am paring down my inventory, but I still have more fabrics to list. (These are some of the ones I'll keep.) I'll get to the photographing and listing part soon, but I'm finishing up the companion "Ensemble" hobo bag to go with the "Nocturne" bag I made last week.

Yesterday Kathy D. came to the farmhouse for a little collaboration and brain storming for a project she's working on. Although I have lots of grommet hardware, I now know why I have so much. I really don't like using them, and working with them yesterday just reiterated that. In the end, we went with another idea which is much more user friendly.

Even when there are glitches (like getting my bobbin stuck behind the mechanism in my sewing machine), or the punches not cutting through fabric as they usually do (sigh), we could laugh and be glad there were no video cameras running to document our mishaps. Luckily I have a tool with a magnet on the end, so we could extricate the wayward bobbin. Even though we got the holes cut and grommets installed, we were happier with the alternative.

I have a lot I want to get finished this week. My plan is to take a little road trip on the weekend to spend a few days with my sister who lives just over the border in Minnesota. So...I'm going to finish my morning cup of coffee, get my act together, and go to work. Tag will be here tomorrow, so I'll see you again on Wednesday to share my progress with you. I hope you have a great week!

No Holds Barred...

Brynwood Needleworks - Fabric Studio

When you can't walk around anymore because there's too much stuff on the floor, something has to give. I spent the entire day in the fabric studio, cleaning, putting things into a donation box, and preparing items for my online shop. It was awful in this room, and I couldn't stand it anymore.

Brynwood Needleworks - Fabric Studio

I would have preferred to be stitching all day long, but I want to spend some time setting up more wool applique's soon, so I had to just bite down on the bullet and clean from floor to work table.

Believe me. When I began, it looked like a crafter's bomb had gone off in there. I feel much better, and all the hard stuff is done. Now, I have room to pull more fabrics to sell in my shop, select my next project, and just play!

Just to explain if you haven't seen my space before - The pattern file under the cutting table holds all my wools and kits. I have shelves on each end, and on the back side of the same table. To the right is my antique map chest, where I keep my packaging materials, and some prepared wallet fabrics. On top of it are DMC cabinets (from when I had my shop), filled with Valdani, #12 Sulky and other threads.

Off the back corner of my cutting table (next to my dress form), is a huge, antique crock that my grandpa used for making pickles. It's now filled with tall and short rolls of cork fabric. Soon, I'll be making more bags, totes and wallets for my shop. For now, everything is reorganized and ready when I am.

Today, I have another therapy session, so I won't be doing anything until I get back home mid-afternoon. No worries, though. When I'm ready, my studio will be, too. sigh I feel so much better!
