I did this yesterday! I sewed a Shop Hop Crossbody Bag to mail out to a client today. I managed to concentrate from start to finish, and even added a matching key fob to surprise her.
I'll get back to stitching today, and I have a needlework class with Clara this afternoon for a couple hours. It will be a relaxing and rewarding day for sure.
Happy Weekend, and I hope you have something fun planned, too. I'd love to know what you're up to, too!
Beautiful bag, the hues glow with warmth.
ReplyDeleteThe bag is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteHave fun with your class, can't wait to see your project.
I am stitching Virtue Sampler by Little House Needleworks.

I will post it on IG when done
DeleteI am so happy to see you getting your energy back. I have used your pattern for these blocks a number of times, but mine don't have the professional looking finishing touches you use.
ReplyDeleteHi Mary:
DeleteI'm feeling stronger by the day, dear. Thank you. Feel free to contact me any time and I'll be happy to give you a few pointers. Perhaps I should do an online class? Something to think about.

That is a very pretty little bag! Your client should be very pleased! Glad you are continuing to gain energy and better health!!
ReplyDeleteHi Lois:
DeleteThanks so much, dear. I hope she loves it. The hibiscus cork is one of my favorites. Getting better by the day. (Yay!)

Sherry of createology: Lovely bag. I use mine for grocery shopping and it is perfect. Pace yourself please so you don’t relapse.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty!!! And very practical too.
ReplyDeleteI'm not doing much of anything but playing catchup on the computer this morning. We had our #2 son make a flying stopover on his way from Vancouver to Halifax for a work event over the weekend and he ended up having to stay an extra day because of the massive snowstorm in Halifax. He left here at 7 am this morning and I'm wanting to go back to bed!
