You know I'm such a kid about my Birthday, don't you? YES. I. AM.
I've mastered the art of the extended Birthday, and have previously managed to stretch it out for three months! Well, it's been so crazy this year that I got a late start, but never fear, I managed to treat myself to a few things today and called them Birthday gifts...so, let the festivities begin!! I even bought a cake at the store today. (I cut and froze 2/3 of it for when Handsome comes back home.)

I agree that birthday celebrations deserve to be extended - especially as we get older. Enjoy yours - and hope Handsome is soon home to help you eat that cake.
