Butterfly Baby...

I think a few baby quilts are in order. I'm going to put together new pieced quilts for my Brynwood Boutique/etsy shop in the upcoming weeks. They'll all be bright, cheerful and affordable, and will be machine quilted by me.

I'll post each one as I choose the fabrics, and then again as I'm ready to list them up for sale. This is the first one I'm going to put together...Butterfly Baby. I'm hoping this one flies right out the door!

PS. Thanks for all the sweet comments about my found seam ripper, and my fabric choices for my appliqued quilt project. I can't wait to show you my first square.

  1. That fabric reminds me of some I have from years ago. I can't machine quilt so I always have to tie them...can't wait to see yours when it is finished :)

  2. So do you have Quilt fairies that come while your sleeping and make all these beautiful quilts? You must! I can't get over how fast you are. I have made one quilt in my life and it took me 9 months, (seriously)

  3. It will fly off the shelf! It's full of happy sweetness! Nothing as wonderful has a handmade baby quilt. My 9 year old niece still uses her's to snuggle with while watching TV.

  6. Hi Donna, I can't wait to see the finished product. It has been a little cooler today. They are suppose to open the antique mall this Friday. I am keeping my fingers crossed that it goes well. It always makes you a little scared when you are trying something new. Have a great day. Your Missouri Friend.

  7. Hi Donna,

I have been admiring all of the quilts you have been making lately.
I fell in love with the "Faerie Glen Quilt" and wondered if you have enough material left to make one for me?? I have a Grand daughter coming the begining of December. If you do not have the fabric anymore I will see what you will list on Etsy.

Please stop by my Blog and sign up
for my first Giveaway...would love to include your name!!

    Hugs and Smiles,
