I’m Here…

I’m resting and recuperating from my recent surgery. I think this one is finally a success (she says, gratefully).

I did have a little stitching time yesterday, and made progress on the branch. I’m hoping to finish it today. Should I put snow on the branch? I think I’ll have to play around with that idea.

Thanks (again) for your prayers and good wishes. I’m quite certain every request was heard.

    1. Hi Bonnie:
I'm glad to be home, too. It really is the best place to heal. Thank you for your prayers. I know they're heard. I'm glad you like my cardinals. (I finished them this afternoon! Pictures on Monday.)

  3. Very good to hear you are seeming encouraged by the recent surgery! Prayers for continued healing! The cardinals look amazing....they look like they are reading to burst into a joyous song (-; I love the idea of snow on the branch, but, know it will look wonderful whatever you decide.

    1. Hi Lois:
Thank you so much for your prayers. I'm doing really well so far. I'm glad you like the cardinals. I'm still debating the snow. If I don't add it, I completed the cardinals and branch this afternoon. I'll still have corner motifs to stitch when I get that far.
      Hugs,

  5. Glad to hear that this surgery was a success - yay!!! Now to convince Donna that she needs to take it easy and concentrate on healing. I know, I'm nagging - but I'm getting lots of practice right now as I'm nagging Resident Chef to take his Traumeel after a hole in the ground jumped up and tripped him.

    1. Hi MA:
Thanks for the smile. I don't take it as nagging at all. Handsome hovers, too, and I'm so grateful that he cares enough to worry over me. I'm so sorry Resident Chef took a tumble. We sure don't bounce like we used to. I'm being extra careful right now, as a fall would put me in agony, and likely open all my incisions. yikes!
