Today's the big day. Dad's on his way to Florida, and you know what that means, right?
 

Brynwood Needleworks - Carly Last Fall

He's goin' to get Carly. He left this mornin', and he'll see her on Saturday. 

Now...he's not comin' right back home. He's gonna go and spend some time with Uncle Mike, and then he'll be seein' Mr. Eric and Miss Becky. They have two rescued racin' greyhounds now, so Carly's gonna make more new friends with them before comin' home.

Dad has some other commitments while he's there, so the plan is that Boo and I are gonna be here with Mom until some time near the end of the month. Mom said as long as Dad's goin' south, he should enjoy the trip. At least one of them can get some warm sun on their bones. So, that's what he's gonna do. (Lucky Dad)

The picture of Carly is what she looked like when she left here. We can't wait to see how much she's grown up since she went south. We'll all wait together until she's back home (or until Dad sends us a couple pictures of her). 

Oh, yeah...it can warm up around here any day. It's been just around 0º here this week, and it's gonna be -11º one night by the weekend. Mom's takin' care of the critters, but we're all prayin' they've found warm places to be until the weather gets better. As for us...we'll be sleepin' on the bed with Mom.
