Be My Valentine Giveaway...

Brynwood Needleworks - "Be My Valentine" Giveaway Gifts

It's Giveaway Time Again!

I was thinking that I hadn't done a giveaway in a while, so what better time than around Valentine's Day?

THREE lucky readers will be able to choose one of the above gifts!

Brynwood Needleworks - Primitive Gatherings' "Candy Hearts" Pillow Kit

Giveaway Gift #1 is a complete kit to create your own Candy Hearts pillow. All the fabric you'll need to create your own pillow is included in the kit. You'll need to add your own threads and a pillow form. Retail value is approximately $35.

Brynwood Needleworks - Giveaway Gift #2 - Sweethearts Pattern

You may remember I made a set of these last year in Lisa's Farmhouse Gatherings grey fabric assortment. This pattern came in the January Wool Box, so now I have two. This will be offered as a giveaway gift to some lucky winner. Retail value is $9.00.

Brynwood Needleworks - Giveaway Gift #3 - A Quilter's Journal

The Quilter's Journal came in a previous Wool Box and I already have a copy, so this is Gift #3. It's a great way to write down your quilting notes, be inspired by the lovely photos, and tour Lisa's lovely lake house, too. There's plenty of room for recording your quilt projecs - or whatever you want. Retail Value $15.

  2. Fun giveaway! Alas I live in Canada and can't enter. I completely understand about postage rates - they're outlandish and certainly have managed to curtail a lot of our fun.

  9. My favorite thing about the day is the color Red. Mix it with pink and it's not so harsh and not so much like Christmas. One year I had Red as my word of the year. It reminds me of love, heath, family strength... V-day reminds me about softness, kind words, hearts. This year snow. It also reminds me to show love all year round.

  10. I love a day that's all about love! And it means Spring is almost here. I've recently started cross stitching again, and I've stitched up a quick couple of smalls for bowl fillers.

    1. Dear Sunny:
I made little hearts with embroidered words last year as bowl fillers. They're sitting on our coffee table as I write this. So glad to hear you're cross stitching again!
      Good luck!

  12. It was my grandmother's birthday. I was very close to her and lived with her when I started working in town. She very much influenced me to love canning and gardening. She was fun to be around and, like me, always busy doing something. Lost her when she was only 67 and I think of her every day.

    1. Dear Judi:
How special that your grandmother was your annual Valentine. Was her name holiday-related? I'm sure you think of her often, and the fact that she passed such wonderful skills to you is even more wonderful.
      Good luck!

  13. I love how Valentine's day can be as simple as a note of love....how excited we got as children to decorate our boxes and open the cute little envelopes of Valentines from classmates. It's a sentiment that can continue. Also, love the red and pink against the white of winter.

    1. Hi Barb:
I remember exchanging Valentines with my grade school chums when I was a kid, and the stuffed dog "Smooch Pooch" I got from a boy who wanted to date me (in middle school). Thanks for the smiles. Good luck!
