Brynwood Needleworks - Dresser Baby |
I mailed all the gifts to the "Be My Valentine" Giveaway winners yesterday morning. Then, I spent the rest of the day stitching and visiting with Handsome.
The pups are getting reacquainted, and yes, Bella is still being standoffish. She'll come around, but it's going to take a little time and patience. For now, we're all going to spend the weekend resting and relaxing. I'll share my projects on Monday.
Wishing everyone a wonderful weekend.
That dresser baby is too cute!
ReplyDeleteprayers that Bella comes around soon.
have a great weekend!

Hi Marilyn:
DeleteThis dresser baby rested on my parents bureau when I was a child. I remember dusting them often. There was a second one. There was a bunny with that baby. I remember the day it broke. My mother told me they were given to her by an elderly lady friend in England. They were about 50 years old when she received them. That would make this one over 110 years old now. I treasure this one.

Dresser Baby is so sweet and LOVE your vase. Glad you are all back together. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteHi Bonnie:
DeleteThank you! I found it in a Hobby Lobby when we first moved into our Florida home. I'm quite fond of it, too. I'm soooo glad Handsome is home. Bella and Carly turned the corner today. We're all pretty happy to have things back to normal.

Enjoy your weekend with your family! We all need one of those weekends once in awhile.
ReplyDeleteThanks, MA-
DeleteI think you're absolutely right! Handsome and I began our day yesterday by taking all the dogs for a (leashed) walk. Group activity, but with control. It went really well. By late morning, everyone was getting along famously! Handsome and I were over the moon happy about it. No more snarky behavior. All three of them were singing Kumbaya by noon. <3
