Today's The Day...

This is the peaceful parking spot the Flying Cloud occupies when we're
not traveling and living in it. It's a quiet, protected place to sit and drink
a cup of tea, stitch a bit of needlework or spend a little time knitting.

We've been busy the past week, spiffin' up The Cloud as we prepare
to embark on our next adventure. First thing this morning, we hitched
her up to the back of our truck. By the time we stop for the evening,
we'll be up in the Florida Panhandle where we'll make our first stop.

We're heading to Pennsylvania for Handsome to attend Adult Band Camp
at Allegheny College in Meadville. We'll be in western PA south of Erie.

We're very fortunate that we have our friend, the retired police officer,
once again homesitting for us. We're able to travel and visit family and
friends without having to concern ourselves with security back home.

We're so grateful that he agreed to move right in until we're back home.
We can savor every mile of our trip - and I'll be back to share pictures
with you. Handsome, Tag and I are sure going to have a great time.

See you tomorrow from our next stop.

  6. I'm so excited for you. I can't wait to see your pictures. And what a blessing to have someone house sit for you. I wondered how folks can leave their homes for so long a time.
