Surprise!!!
Mom said that I could give you a tour of the completely finished slipcovers.
Welcome to my fantabulous, magical Flyin' Cloud caravan!
Just in case you don't remember - or didn't see - what the Cloud seats looked like
before, they had a great, paw-print-hiding, nylon fabric on them. They were ok.
Now, they're recovered with an oatmeal-colored, painter's dropcloth canvas fabric.
Don't they look great? Only thing is, I'm gonna have to be real careful not to jump
up on 'em with dirty feet. So far, I've been stealthy, but now I'd be busted for sure!
Take a look at the old view from our bedroom hall, and now...
Mom's doin' her silly, happy dance.
Oh, and one little detail she added on the end of one of the cushions...
She put a quilted pocket on the end - and it's big enough to hold her iPad!
She or Dad could put other stuff in there if they want to, but she sized
it she could put her tablet there to keep it safe when she's not using it..
All she said was, "Whew! I'm glad that's done now!"
Me, too. It means it won't be long before we're on the road again!
Love it, so welcoming. Great tour guide, Tag. Safe travels... Xoxo
ReplyDeleteSo nice to hear from you twice this eek. Thanks for the tour. It looks very inviting.
ReplyDeleteThey look great and Tag did a pretty darn good job as a tour guide!
ReplyDeleteVery nice. The plain fabric looks so much better than the striped original, and shows off the quilted tablecloth to perfection. The side pocket is a really good idea.
ReplyDeleteHi Donna,
ReplyDeleteYour Airstream looks fabulous! I wanted to let you know that we took your advice and took our "new" unit up to Alachua for a check up. It's a good thing too, as they found a leak in the LP lines and a couple of other things as well. We left it in their good hands and hopefully we will get her back sometime next week :-)
