Stronger Every Day...

We had a lovely weekend with Handsome's brother last weekend. In fact, so much so that I never even got a photograph of the two of them together! (Bad blogger!)

Handsome gets stronger everyday, and he continues with physical therapy and needed doctor visits. From all accounts, the brain is absorbing the residual from the bleed that was causing the issues. Now that the supply has been cut off, we're hoping that the two area that were causing the problem will just disappear over time. His doctor is happy with his progress, too, which is wonderful.

I'll be at work today, but Handsome assures me he'll take it easy. He'll likely read the latest book he's been enjoying, and except for letting the dogs out a few times, he'll just rest while I'm away.

I'm going to make a pot of coffee and get ready for work. I hope you have a great week.

    1. Thank you, dear Marilyn.
Me, too. My heart aches when he's not well. Everything is off-kilter. Now that we're getting him back to normal, I can be, too.

  2. I am certain that it brings each of us a warm feeling inside, a sigh of relief, and a whispered "thank you" to God as we continue to read about how well Handsome is progressing! (In your case, it's probably a wildly happy dance and a shout of thanks 😉) BTW, the puppy purse is beyond cute - she will have to love it! Beautifully imagined and well done...again!!

    1. Dear Lois:
Thank you so much for those heartwarming words, my friend. I thank God every day that Handsome is getting stronger and back to normal. It's not an understatement when I say that he's my "heartbeat". I'm so tickled you like the little puppy purse. Ellie's mama promised photos, and maybe a video when she opens her gift. It should be in her hands by Thursday. squeee! Thanks again.

    1. Hi MA:
Thanks, dear. He behaved while I was away today, saying he mostly napped. I reminded him that he's still healing and not to push himself. I'll keep after him to behave so he can fully recover.
      Hugs,
      xoxo

    1. Dear Sherry:
Thank you so much. You're right that our prayers were answered. I treasure every single smile, and all the time we can share together. He did behave while I was at work, and we had a nice evening together when I got home.
      Hugs,

    1. Hi Shirley:
I'm happy to share updates, so you can know he's making progress. While he still has healing and physical therapy, I'm so grateful that his events we as subtle as they were, and that I was able to recognize them. I'll continue to pamper him and help him fully recover. "It's what we do." Thanks, dear.
