Still Stitching...

Brynwood Needleworks - "Everlasting" Block 3 Hydrangea

I completed this block yesterday. I changed out the veining in the leaves. I left the rest true to the pattern.

I have physical therapy this morning, and a hair appointment this afternoon. I'm still waiting for the cortisone injection to do its magic. I'll stitch more this evening. Thanks for dropping by!

    1. Hi Marilyn:
Thanks! I do, too. I love stitching those blossoms. They stand up a little bit once I've added the embroidery.
My day wouldn't have been as bad had I written down my correct appointment date. When I got there, they told me I was a day early! lol So, I'll be doing it again Thursday.
      Big Hugs!

  2. I really like this one - lots of texture that I'm sure is much better in real life.

    1. Hi Maggie:
I'm a big fan of hydrangeas (and geraniums), and I really love stitching these blooms. The do have a tendency to lift from the ground fabric when I stitch, adding a bit more dimension.
      Thanks for your note!
