Friday Finishes...

Brynwood Needleworks - Latest Retreat Bags Created

Well, this is more like it! I completed these three Retreat Bags yesterday.

Brynwood Needleworks - "Broderie" Retreat Bag

The first is called "Broderie", featuring flosses, threads and needlework fabric.

The interior is a swirl fabric with the same rose tint seen on the exterior.
Of course, there's an interior pocket to hold smaller items.

Brynwood Needleworks - "Geraniums" Retreat Bag

Next up was "Geraniums" and I'm sure you can see why.

Geraniums were a staple in my Wisconsin needlework shop, which had this
geranium leaf green on the walls, and the floral border running all along the
top of the walls. This fabric is almost like being back with my friends at Stitches!

The green interior coordinates perfectly!

Brynwood Needleworks - "Mama's Sewing Machines" Retreat Bag

My last retreat bag for the week is called "Mama's Sewing Machines".
It features vintage sewing machines, tools and (on the back) dress forms.
It's a more "genteel" version of "Sewing Room" that I showed you yesterday.

Look! The inside features button fabric. Just right for this one.

They're already in my online and Etsy shops.

Handsome has a concert on Sunday, so I'm going to catch up on a little homekeeping
between now and then. I'm planning to spend some time outside with Tag and Bella, too!

  1. Beautiful trio of bags dear. Your selection of fabrics is what makes each bag inside and out extraordinary.
