Tuesdays With Tag - Old Dog; New Tricks...
Hi, Everybody!
Lots of you tell Mom how clever you think I am,
so today I want to prove it! I taught Mom a trick!!
Dad recorded what I taught her, so I'm going to let the video speak for itself.
It's less than a half minute long, but you'll get the idea. I'm really proud of how
quickly I was able to teach her this trick. She calls it, "Taggart Gives A Paw",
but I call it "How I Trained Mom To Give Me Treats"!
(The direct video link is: http://youtu.be/it4HUEclDt8)
Wasn't that fun? Mom is a quick study, don't you think?
You CAN teach an old...ahem...nevermind.
I'll see what else I can teach her and when I do, I'll be sure to get Dad to record it.
We'll find somethin' new to share next week. 'til then...
"Wag Like Ya Mean It!"
What a good boy you are, Tag!
ReplyDeleteWell Done Tag! And then I bet you ran around and got lots of exercise so you could have more treats. Smooches and Waggin...
ReplyDeleteWell done Tag, and now I've found you on U-Tube too. I used to have a smooth collie called Bosun (or Bobo to his friends) A few years ago it was the fashion in the UK to put jelly babies in glasses of vodka, then discard the sweets when the vodka was coloured, and a good time was has by all. It took me a while to realise that my baby Bobo was eating the jelly babies, but it was a wonderful way to teach him to 'sit' to get one as a treat. He had competed at Crufts as a puppy (best in breed) so he could stand and present himself beautifully but would not 'sit' , until I offered him the sweeties. But when it got to the stage when it didn't get him to 'sit' but to fall over, I realised that perhaps things had gone too far, so I had to resort to dog chocky drops instead. I don't think he enjoyed them so much! Bobo suffered from the same problem as your bro'Fessik, which is why his Cruft's career stopped early. We didn't mind 'cos we loved him, and always will. Blssings and love. PS Don't try this at home alcohol should NOT be given to animals, but at the time I thought the jelly babies were adding colour and flavour to the vodka, I didn't even think that they were soaking up alcohol. . .
ReplyDeleteOh, that video was precious! I could watch it again and again! I'd love more videos starring Tag! Twyla
