Tuesdays With Tag - Oh, Poo...

 Hi, Everybody!
It seems I'm in a bit of a fix this week.
I'm not in my usual Corgi Habitat, to be sure!
See. It's like this. I was playin' out in the yard Sunday mornin'
and Mom caught me rollin' around in the grass. When she called
me, I ran back to her to show her what I found...raccoon poo!
It was AWESOME!
Mom wasn't too thrilled, so I ended up here...
in the bathtub. Mom said, "Tag, you stink!"
I begged to differ, but before I could plead my case, she had me
in the tub.  She got me all wet with that stupid plastic thing and
then she lathered me up with handfuls of soap. She said she was
gonna get rid of that raccoon poo on my white fur collar or else!
I know it looks like I'm "talkin' to the hand" here, but she just
put her hand up so I wouldn't shake all over her. It's my little
attempt at payback for havin' to put up with this dog abuse!
I have to admit, though, "after" bath time is pretty nice.
Mom usually lifts me up into a towel and takes me to her chair so
she can rub me down to dry my fur. But this time, she let me run.
First thing I did was run out onto the pool deck and throw myself
onto my dryin' towel. I rolled around for quite a while. 'scuse my butt!
Then, Mom took me out onto the grass and I ran laps around the
yard. I ran and ran and ran and ran...and then I ran some more!
It didn't take long for me to dry off at all. Mom liked this picture
of me. She said I look like a Royal Corgi...all clean and shiny and
proper. Yup. That's me...until I find another pile of poo to roll in!
Then we'll do this all over again.

Hope you had fun takin' a bath with me this week. Who knows
what I'll come up with next? I sure don't! You'll just have to come
back next week! 'til then...
"More Waggin' and Less Barkin'!"

  1. Oh, Tag, I guess I'll never understand how such sweet proper little doggies love to roll in poo, but mine does too! It must be worth the pleasure cause surely you smart doggies know what's going to happen to you when you come in! I hope you and your mom have a great day! Twyla

  2. Tag, you might wanto avoid the "poos" for a couple weeks...you know the big guy in the red suit is wathing and I'd hate for you to get a piece of coal (or another bath) instead of a treat you so deserve.

  3. Tag what is it about poo that you like? I cannot understand you wanting to get icky and stinky...unless you secretly like to give Mom a yucky job. Not only does she have to de-stink you, then she has to disinfect the entire tub. You do look regal with a clean and wind run coat Tag Dear...
