Kitchen Hutch Update...

Hutch Update - l-r: Before and After

I'm stopping in for a quick "hello" and to show you my hutch update today. The movers came yesterday and unloaded everything into the house and pole barn. To say the farmhouse has been "populated" would be a gross understatement.

Before all the boxes came in, I had a chance to paint the hutch I purchased last week. I'm not a fan of the brick red, but could see how it would be just right if I repainted it in Ibis White (Sherwin Williams).

This will sit in the kitchen, next to the stove (which will come after I empty the boxes that are overflowing in this room now). It'll be perfect for storing our flatware, pots and pans and dishes until the kitchen remodel in the fall.

I'm going to be unpacking for a while now, but Tag will surely get attention from me. He always makes sure I do! He'll be by to visit tomorrow. In the meantime, I'm off to empty more boxes. Now, where did I put that inventory list?

  1. Fresh clean white looks so good. Great use of this lovely cabinet. I'm certain your inventory list is in the folder sitting right next to your studio desk...Oh dear that was in Florida. Slow and steady Sweet Friend and each box will reveal its contents to you. Hugs and an Epsom Salts bath soak today.
