Google Reader™ will be going away in a few days...
They've been threatening this change for a while, and I just kept hoping that
they'd relent. I was wrong. In the next few days, that feature will disappear
frommy all Blogger blogs. I don't like it, but nobody asked my opinion.

This is different from Google Friend Connect™ or Linky Followers™. This
change is only if you're used to reading my blog through Google Reader™.
We've been told that Friend Connect™ may also change at some time
in the future, so if you're not signed up as a Linky Follower™, you might
want to do that at the same time. I know that I'm going to miss my Friend
Connect™ widget if they ever discontinue it. Linky™ provides the same
feature and promises that they will be a great alternative for the future.
Change is a difficult thing for me.
If we remain calm, perhaps this won't hurt too much.
Please sign up now so that we don't lose touch with each other.
I'd hate for you to miss all the great things I have planned.

Hey Donna, long time no see. I never seem to click on my reader anymore but did tonight and saw this post. Like you I hate any changes to do with the computer and blogging. I stayed so confused as it is. I haven't done a thing yet. I've been signed up with linky, google+, GFC, and bloglovin for a while but don't really use them. I need to transfer my list I guess. I just went to bloglovin and followed you to make sure I don't lose you.
ReplyDeleteI hope you're having a good summer. OX's...… Tracy@CottonPickinCute ♥
I am already following you via Linky and Bloglovin'. Out of fear, I had added those to my blogs a few months ago. This Google thing is so confusing, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteI don't understand taking away our Followers. We've all worked hard to get to where we are and it's unfair for them to just take that away. We're very discouraged by the whole thing. Twyla
ReplyDeleteI got ya on my list at Bloglovin' girlfriend, never worry. I finally posted about one of my dogs, you might wanna check it out.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Meri
I'm such a Luddite! You and I connect with Friends Connect and, hopefully, won't be affected. Hopefully but what do I know, I'm a Luddite -grin-.
