Tuesdays With Tag - Yardworkin'...

 Hi, everybody!
I was helping Dad with the yardwork over the weekend.
We were really busy, so I want to get right to showin'
you Mom's pictures and tellin' you all about our day.

Yeah. See? Dad was anxious to get goin', too.

I have to see exactly what he's gonna do. That's my
John Deere trailer and our tools. My tractor is next to the
road so you can't see it in these pictures. Dad won't let me
drive it, but it's still mine. (It's the corgi way!)

I was checkin' out the tractor, and look what I found.
Our ditch was full of really great, mucky water. Bonus!!!
I did manage to spend a lot of time in there when the sun was out.

After a while, Dad said it was too hot even for him.
"Time to wrap it up, Tag!"
"Okay, Dad. I'll wait here for ya."

Mom wanted me to pose for ya so you could see my dirty feet.
"What? I don't know what the problem is.
I'm fine. Really. Dirty water just gives my coat character."

I'd rather not show you the pictures of Mom hosin' me down
so that I didn't get dirt in the pool. It was corgi abuse, I tell ya.
But once I was "de-mudded", I was allowed back into the Holidome.

"Ahhhhhhh, yes. Come in. The water's great! Sun God, kiss me tan!"

"Hey, Mom! Are ya comin' in or are you gonna glue yourself to that camera?"
"I'm on my way, Tag. I'm just waiting for Dad."

Dad finally got to the pool, and all three of us went swimmin' together.
You know it still gets into the 90s here in Florida, don't you?
The pool is so refreshing and fun. Here I am in my "apre' swim" pose.

It turned out to be a really great day. I guess I make a good yard worker.
I don't charge much either. (I work for kibble. hee hee)
I bet Dad will ask me to help again next time.

After I ate dinner, I finally ran out of gas.
I decided to take the rest of the day off.

So, there you have it...my yardworkin' day. I wonder what this week will hold?
I'll be back to tell you all about it. 'til then...
"More Waggin' and Less Barkin'!"

  4. Tag you were a wonderful yard helper to Dad. I am not sure I would have gone near that muddy water ditch...too yucky for me. Good thing you had Dad to reach all the high limbs to trim. Swimming was a great reward for all the hard yard work. It is good to be owner...of the tractor, the grounds, the people who feed you...
More tail waggin you little cutie.

  5. Looks like lots of haulin' and carryin' being done there Tag and a fair bit of overseeing too. Very hot and tiring work. I wonder what wore you out? The overseeing or the swimming? Keep up the good work.

  6. What a hard worker!
He's so cute with his wet legs kicked out behind him. Still 90 here, too.
Lots more swim time, but only Bruce will get in!
