A Day Off - Or - An Off Day...

I wish I could tell you that I was busy in the studio all day yesterday. I'd love to show you a newly created quilt (if I'd made one). I'd love to tell you that I was productive from the moment I got up until sunset. I'd love to have a regular Show and Tell, but I can't.

Unfortunately, I spent most of the afternoon sleeping, following the second laser treatment for a benign, but annoying, recurring "boo" on my lip. Did you know that lips are ultra sensitive - even for a laser treatment? Yup. I won't even consider the treatment without a pre-procedure, super-duper, ultra-pain killer. This time, the doctor treated me with a dental block, too, so I didn't feel a thing until it all wore off. Ice is my friend.

The doctor is confident that this time it worked, so I won't have to do it again. I'm hoping she's right.

I was going to post a photograph of me "post op", but it's not very pretty. I'm sharing this Linda Edgerton image instead. An adorable, little girl making dolly clothes. Much better.

Think happy thoughts, and do something creative today. I'll be back tomorrow to chat with you.

    Teddy says HEEL DONNA HEEL. I tried ti explain to him that he means HEAL... he just looked at me turned walked off saying he was sure Mrs L knows what I mean. (dogs you can't live with them but you sure can't live without them. Take care my friend. Hugs!
