I will never forget the horror of that day, and how petrified I was for everyone I knew who was in Manhattan. Still, whenever a low flying plane passes by, I'm right back there instantly. I know that will ever change. Even though we're miles and miles east of the city, from a hill nearby we could see the smoke from the fallen towers for days. Months later, when I actually saw with my own eyes the area where the buildings once stood, it was so unbelievable, so horrible, so, so sad. No, I'll never forget. xo

ReplyDeleteThis is definitely a time in our lives we will never forget. That day is burned into my soul. May we all be safe from harm in this world...
ReplyDeleteSomething that should never be forgotten no matter where in the world we live.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe it has been 12 years. It seems like it was just 3 years ago. I will never forget that day.
