Tuesdays With Tag - Lizard Hunter...

Taaa Daaa! I'm here!!! Did ya miss me?
Noooowww I can tell you about one of my jobs around our house.
Let's run over here...lickety split...'cuz that's how we corgis roll.
Come on. You don't even have to run or anythin'! Are ya with me?
This is what I do every single time Mom or Dad takes me outside.
I'm the intrepid, alert and every watchful "Lizard Hunter"!
I am perfectly equipped for the job, because what I can't see, I can hear!
I look to my left and to my right, and sometimes...
I have to get right down in the dirt to sniff 'em out. (They're cagey little things,
after all.) They try to hide under the grass, but if I can hear 'em, I can find 'em.
They're all over the place down here, and to tell the truth, they drive me more
than a little nuts. I can't even remember why I came outside, sometimes!
Don't be fooled. I'm not lookin' for someone to open the door. Look closely.
I'm checkin' out the screens, 'cuz sometimes there are lizards runnin' on them!
I even look around all the trees in our yard. It's a constant task for me.
I gotta keep our place safe from the Attack of the Lizards!
They better not even think about tryin' to get in our house. Ever!

Oh, and just so ya know...I only harrass the lizards. I don't eat them.
They'd taste yukky, and I really prefer bacon!
I'll be here. Ever watchful. Ever vigilant. Ever...well, a lot little obsessed.
It's the Corgi Way.

Sorry we were delayed this week. Mom's camera doesn't take batteries.
It can only be recharged by plugging it in and sometimes she misses the
little warning that says it's about to be completely discharged. She had to
plug it in overnight to be able to get these photos of my own, handsome self
out of it. What's a corgi to do, but wait patiently (or just go to bed). sigh

Anyhoo...after a stern "arrrroooooo" from her Tuesday contributor, she's
promised to only let it happen when it's her turn to write a blog post from
now on. I'm gonna hold her to it, too! This stuff's important, right?
See ya next week. 'til then...
"More Waggin' and Less Barkin'!"

Dearest Tag,
You are truly the mighty lizard hunter. Those rascally reptiles need your ever vigilant attention for who knows what they are bound to do! Keep up the good work.
Have a great day.

Tag, please come and run off all the lizards at our house! Sophie and Henry don't care...they are busy chasing the birds!

You are so brave to try to rid your yard of the lizards! I have lizards that have pretty blue tails! I still don't like them! Keep up the good work, Tag! Twyla
