Tuesdays With Tag - Barefootin'...

 Hi, everybody!

Did you have a nice holiday weekend?

We had a fun time around our house, for sure!

When we got home from our trip, we had long grass in our yard, 

'cuz it was too rainy while we were gone for our friend to mow.

I took my life into my own paws every time I had to go out!

The grass tickled my tummy and Mom was afraid I'd get lost.

Dad said he and Mom had to do somethin' about it  - "pronto".

 I stayed inside for most of the excitement. Mom always worries that

I might get in trouble with the mowers and trimmers goin', so she

won't let me run around while they're workin'. It's ok. I like hangin'

out in the air conditionin' while they get all hot and sweaty outside.

 I just throw my drummies out, relax and watch 'em out the window.

Then, when they come in to take a break, we all head to the pool to

cool off. That happens at least twice while they work, 'cuz it's so hot.
My favorite thing in the whole world! BooooYaaaaaah!

I can't tell you what a relief it was when all the mowin' was done. Whew!

They had perfect timin', too. Right after they were done, it rained...Again!!! 

No kiddin'. It rained buckets! But at least the next time I went out I didn't

get tangled up runnin', and when I raised my leg, it wasn't still in the grass!

Now, I can go barefootin' without worryin' about gettin' lost.

So, there ya have it. We did have company over on Sunday, but when

they got here, our yard was lookin' nice...not like an abandoned property.

This is my "look" when I'm beggin' Mom to go back out in the pool...or if

I'm hungry. Like it? It works whenever I use it. It's my "Hey, I'm desperate"
look. At the very least, it earns me a belly rub or a tasty treat.

Well, today we'll be gettin' back to normal around here. I'm exhausted

from all my supervisin', so I think I might just take one more day off.

I'm workin' on somethin' interestin' to share with you next week.

You're gonna have to wait to see what I come up with, though. 'til then...
