More Weekend Finishes...

I hope all of you had a great weekend. Mine was relaxing and productive. The weather was gorgeous, but my Harley is in the shop (to find out why it wouldn't start for me recently), so I spent time in the studio - and in the pool!

I have a gift or two on my list for this month, so I decided to get at least one of them finished this weekend. A napking/mug mat set for a dear and generous friend.
I love the fabrics in this mat! The leafy fabric on the left end and the green swirls on the right end are from the same fabric line. I chose complimentary fabrics for the center. I added my Brynwood acorn in the corner and the mat was finished!

There are four napkins in the set. This is the front of the double-sided napkin (I only place my Brynwood label on one napkin of any sets I make), and the green swirl fabric is on the back. I used a decorative leaf stitch to finish the edges.

I have one other little thing to add to this set and they'll be on their way to the recipient today! Voila!

I also played with more fabric and made a second husky mat for my client. I like these fabric choices better than the ones I used last week.

These fabrics are also available for any other custom mats that might be ordered. The typography fabric is a discontinued line from Lonni Rossi. I just love this fabric and wish I'd ordered yards more of it when it was available about eight years ago. Boo!

Can you see the special words that serendipitously appeared when I was assembling it? (Turn you head toward the left) See? "Joy" and "intelligent". I think it's perfect for the college student who will be using it.

Back to the wedding quilt today. Of course, no photos until after the wedding...unless you know where to look. (I can still share, but you'll only know where to look if you've been following my blog for a while!)

Have a great week, my friends. Tag will be here tomorrow.

Your work is so precise and these finished projects are beautiful. Your selections of fabrics and colors are so perfect together. Blissful week dear...
P.S. Hope Tag's little pad is better today and the vet had some special salve to heal it.

Very pretty, Donna. I especially love the green. At first glance, I thought it was a stitchers wallet.

Love them!
Yes, again I'm playing catch up! Captain was home and we were gone most of the time. Helped her mom with kitchen remodeling ideas. It's 4:00 in the morning and I'm getting ready to take her to the airport. Poo!
