Sunday was beautiful here in south Florida. The weather was mild and partly sunny, but what made the day perfect was a day spent with family.
Our nephew, his lovely wife and their two daughters came to visit for the afternoon. The girls went swimming and their parents, Handsome and I had a grand time catching up.

I know you aren't going to believe this, but
I lost a photograph. Poof! Gone! I took a picture of our nephew's family with Handsome before we ate dinner. When I went to download the images into my computer, the
only group picture was missing. There's a lesson to be learned about going back and forth between
taking the pictures and
reviewing the pictures. I didn't realize the group picture was gone until
after they left, and I have to say I was
pretty p.o.'d mildly peeved to find it gone, so I'm sharing these instead. It's a good thing I still have my memory. We'll be talking about our visit for a long time.
By the time you read this, they'll be back home, but we're so glad they took time from their vacation to visit with us. We really need to do this much, much more often!
Handsome has begun playing with the Port Charlotte Concert Band and his first concert with the group in tonight. I'm really looking forward to sitting in the audience. No video recording tonight. Just the pure pleasure of watching my husband make music.

ReplyDeleteLove family days,I share most Sundays with my youngest daughter and my granddaughter and grandson.My eldest daughter lives in Australia, I havnt seen her for 2 years and miss her dreadfully .but we do chat on the phone at least twise a week.love from England.Liily and I are looking forward to Tags post tomorrow,hope he is recovering from his surgery.xxx Laura.
