Tuesdays With Tag - Anticipation...

Brynwood Needleworks - Taggart

Hi, Everybody!

I woke up Monday mornin' thinkin' that this week was gonna be awesome. You know, filled with chasin' the cat; barkin' my fool head off at the wind or any other minute noise; and other stuff like that. Instead, I find out I have an appointment.

Compassionate Care Animal Clinic - Elkhart Lake, WI

I don't even know why she told me. It just means I have to worry about it until it's over. Nooooo. I have to go to the vet for my annual checkup. Great.

Compassionate Care Animal Clinic - Dr. Prellwitz & Winnie

On a good note, I'll get to see Dr. John. I really like him - even though I'm used to Dr. Stephanie and the ladies at Animal Medical Clinic in Florida. He takes really good care of me (and Bella and Carly, too!).

What's botherin' me is I know I'm gonna get at least one shot. Mom got a reminder sayin' I'm due for my rabies shot, and of course, she had to tell me. So, now I get to think about that until after I get it. I just hope there's a treat in it for me when it's all over. Yeah. I can't wait until it's all over.

I'll see you again in seven. 'til then...

    1. Hi Miss Marilyn:
I survived, but it was touch and go for a while. As if all the pokin' and proddin' wasn't enough, I got my toes chopped off AGAIN! These people don't know when to quit!
Mom said I don't sound like The Rockettes anymore when I run through the house...whatever that means.
      Thanks for askin'.
      Smooches,
      xoxo

  2. You have to take care of yourself Tag so you can continue to take care of Mom and Dad. This stuff is important, and as you say, there might be treats.

    1. Hi Miss Maggie:
I know you're right, but it is a little degradin' bein' examined. (I guess I should count my blessin's that Dr. John doesn't sniff butts!) I passed my exams with flyin' colors, and I'm real glad I won't have to do that again for a long time! As long as I don't get de-barked, I'm happy. That way I can keep protectin' Mom and Dad from whatever tries to sneak into the yard! Oh, and yeah. There were treats!! Score!!
      Smooches,
      xoxo

  3. Oh Tag! It’s always something isn’t it? Well this note is actually from Gabriella. I am the new dog in town over here. I had three shots last week and I tell you what I survived it. So can you. Then we ca. Run to our hearts content and chase things again. Best of luck.

    1. Well, hellooooo, Gabriella! Nice to meet you. You've got my sympathy for those shots. I'm glad you survived...and that I have a new friend droppin' in to say "hello". I was all "big and brave" when it came time to get my shots. I was actually scheduled for one or two for today, and more in the next few months, but they gave 'em all to me today. I did take a little nap when I got back home, but I'm good as new now.
Thanks for leavin' a note for me today. I'm really glad to hear from you.
Smooches to you and Miss Charlene,
      xoxo

  4. Hi Tag. I am always late to your PARTY and I do know I am remiss. I am certain you got through your annual exam just perfectly. Sniffing butts or as my hubby says, “Bend over, grab your ankles and cough” is worse. Treats had to be in order! Love and Smooches my little Corgi Cutie.
