Play...

So much happened here this past week. Handsome didn't return to Florida before New Years Eve. Instead, he spent nearly a week in the hospital. He's back home now, and on the road to recovery.

Of course, I've been traveling back and forth all week, and was so happy to be able to bring him back to the farm to recuperate. I tell you this to explain my absence in the studio this past week. I have projects waiting for me, but I know you understand. When your sweetheart isn't well, it's hard to think about playing. He is my total focus. It's how we work. It's what we do.

Now that he's back home and on the mend, I'll turn my thoughts to doing something creative. I promise to share a project in the next few days, but I hope you'll be patient with me until then.

  6. Hope he's feeling much better! Is it the flue? I've heard it's really bad this year, and the flu shot is not as effective as normal.

  7. I hope Handsome makes as swift recovery. Peaceful thoughts and Blessings are winging their way to you both. Kisses for Tag too, unless that's too ugh!!! for him. I love him anyway. DH and I have been on holiday since Dec 27th, travelling all over England. We were due to drive home today, but last night he managed to send me, my wheelchair, and himself flying. I'm bruised but otherwise OK, but John has broken his wrist and can't drive. Luckily I get the highest rate of Motability from the Government so we phoned them, (we were stuck in the hospital A&E carpark, and they arranged for a taxi to pick us up and take us to a lovely hotel, where we have a comfortable room, and have had dinner and drinks, and will get a full 'English' breakfast in the morning then we'll be picked up and driven home, about 400 miles with our car following us. And it won't cost us a penny. We moan about our health care in this country, but I don't think any other country can beat it, do you? Blessings
