|Brynwood Needleworks - "Guitar Man" Travel Bag|
I finished two projects yesterday. If I hadn't been a little under the weather, I would have finished three!
"Guitar Man" is finished and will be delivered today. It's a gift from Miss Bella Butt to Uncle Mike. We'll be in Jupiter today for a training day, so she'll be able to give it to him in person.
In addition to his other talents, Mike is also a musician. His instrument of choice is the guitar, and in his younger days, he'd train dogs with his dad by day and play music with various bands by night. He'd still manage to get up before dawn every morning to clean kennels and feed dogs before the training started each day.

I used a beautiful, musical note fabric inside the travel bag. The colors match up pretty well with the exterior, so I'm really happy with the result. I put an inset zipper pocket, as well as an open pocket on the inside.

This travel bag will be available in my shop today. I'm thinking it would be a perfect Father's Day gift for that special guy in your life.
The wording on the front is from The Hobbit. It's one of my favorite sayings, and I thought perfect for a travel kit.

The outside is a soft, black pleather. Inside, I've used a great fabric I found featuring maps from the Tolkein book. There is a pocket, too, with "Middle Earth" centered on it.
I'm offering this design at a special price for Father's Day. After June 19th, they'll be regular price ($10 more). The first one (shown) is ready to go, but I'll fill Father's Day orders until Tuesday to be sure they arrive to you in time to give next Sunday.

I'm offering another style for the shop, too. I love these vintage grooming tools, and I'll use a coordinating fabric on the inside. This listing will appear soon, and can also be special ordered to arrive in time for Father's Day.
Sleep is overrated, don't you think?
