Finally!
All this time has passed and I am again turning my attention to
the Farmer's Wife. I know. I should be ashamed of myself, but I've
been so darn busy with the quilt show that I just had to put something
on the back burner. My last progress report was last September! (here)
Well, today, I'm packed to go and teach four blocks at Crazy Quilters. If
you were a participant in the Farmer's Wife QAL, you'll be getting an email
from me over the weekend. I've also been preparing new paper piecing
blocks to add to our Box account. I'll let you know when those are up, too.
So, I'll be stopping for a latte' and then heading over to the shop first thing. I'll
have a whole day of teaching, sewing and getting back to my only serious
UFO...The Farmer's Wife. I'll be teaching this class and adding new blocks
twice a month at the shop. Goodness. I'll be finished before you know it.
It's gonna be a great day!
Ruh Roh...Farmer's Wife blocks? Does this mean I will get out my stash and maybe complete my wall hanging? This will be good actually. Blissful teaching dear...
ReplyDeleteI know you will get there - just a little focus (grin) required. Hey, these things definitely take time and there's always plenty to get in the way. I can't wait to see how yours is progressing.
ReplyDeleteOn another note, I can't believe it has been 5 years since you started this blog. It seems like only a year or so ago. So much done and so much happening and still to do. Keep it up my friend. I love stopping by every day.
If it hadn't been for you I wouldn't have started it. It gave me a reason to delve in. Can't wait to see what you'll be doing. I think I'll post the baby blanket I made with our BOM's we did last year with my quilt guild. The young lady was overcome because her mother used to quilt. She passed away two years ago. I had no idea and was sincerely awed by her reaction. Hormones!
