Tuesdays With Tag - Stupid Camping Cat...

Yo! It's your favorite corgi back for my Tuesday post.
Today, I'd like to tell you what I saw yesterday at the TerraPort.
(Hold onto your undies, 'cuz you won't believe this!)

Mom saw this really cute little 17' long International model Airstream.
(She loves those little ones. She says their "corgi size"!)
It's owned by a really nice couple from Canada. They speak French!
I guess that really makes this an international camper, not just in name.

While she was ooooing and ahhhing at the camper, look what I saw!
I almost rolled over and wet my fur I was laughing so hard.
A C.A.T. on a leash!
BAHAHAHAHA!

Later on, when Mom took me for a walk, we came around
the big oak trees only to find "Marie Antoinette" reclining in the shade.
(That's not her real name, but it's probably something close.)

I mean, really!
"Stupid Camp Cat" got all huffy, just 'cuz I strolled past.
I like cats!
In fact, I haven't met a living creature that I haven't liked yet!
I just wanted to go over and schozzle all over her camp kitty face!
That would teach her!

Mom and I got outta there, muy pronto and by the end of the day,
Her Royal Huffiness was sprawled out on the shady pavement.
I'm so glad that she survived my handsome corgi self.
I'm sure she'll be talkin' about me for the rest of their trip!

As for me?
I'm so over her.
BAHAHAHA!
A cat on a leash.
I never!.....

Well, we're headed home now, so I've got to take my place in the back seat.
I'll write from home base next week. 'til then...
"More Waggin' and Less Barkin'!"

  4. Hi Tag, You think you see everything. Well I have some neighbors in my neighborhood that walk three cats on a leash and a dog. The kids had the cats and mom had the dog. The dog was bigger then you and they told me he was the cat protector. Have a safe trip home and you may be traveling through some very warm weather. You never know when the storms will pop up. Hugs. Your Missouri Friend.

  5. Tag you are the greatest story telling camping dog ever! I used to walk my Sasha BooBoo kitty on a leash and people would stop their cars to ask, "Is that a cat?" Hmmm...you are much smarter than those people. I see by the kitty's tail she wasn't sure about you being a friendly schoozleing dog. "Wet your fur"...Bahahaha
Tag you little Corgi jewel you really make my week. More tail waggin and safe travels my friend.

  6. Oh Tag...you are too funny! Now just yesterday, one of my friends that lives closeby- posted pictures of her "cats on a leash" on FaceBook. Apparently they are indoor kitties and that is how they hang outside too! Bet mom would rather you came across one of them instead of those gators in your neck of the woods! Safe travels...

  7. Isn’t there a saying something like dogs are from Mars and cats are from Venus or would that be for humans… Anyway, you get the jist cats are never to be understood especially when all you want to do is smell them and say hi…. Silly felines. Safe travels home!
    Have a great day.
    Always, Queenie

  8. Tag, I love your holiday stories. There is no way my 2 kitties would stay on a leash like that! When I tried a collar on my last kitty he had the collar off in no time! Kitties do like doggies but you just have to be patient with them as they do like to pretend that they are all tough & brave at first! ;0). Have a safe trip back home.

  9. Poor Camp Cat doesn't know what she missed by not letting you near. Don't feel bad though Tag, she has probably had some not so good experiences with other dogs and thinks you are all the same. Safe travels wee boy.

  10. D - I love the look on that kitty's face! My dad used to take our marmalade Angora out on a leash on Sundays in NYC. they went to the park and read the NY Times.
