The Comforts of Home...

I'll be spending today thinking of the comforts of home. I'm having a little surgery to remove a certain organ that had me in the emergency room last Saturday night. It seems that this crafty blogger has been busy making "pearls" (of a sort)...one being the size of a large gumball. So, in an effort to avoid another "frontal assault", we're going to just have the offender removed - lock, stock and barrel. Perhaps that's the reason I've been a bit unfocused lately. I'm going to spend a little time thinking about my next project, work on my beautiful, mint green sweater, and concentrate on healing.

The two books in my photos are recent acquisitions from Anne Sutton at Bunny Hill Designs. One - Home Comforts - I purchased, and the other - Comfort and Joy - was a gift from her. Both are filled with gorgeous designs and ideas. Don't these quilts just make you want to hole up in your sewing room and make 'em all? They do me! Her blog Bunny Hill, is also a wonderful place to visit.

Hope you have a great day - and I always appreciate a healing prayer. I'll write again soon. (I'm writing my post for tomorrow ahead of time. I'll be back "in person" on Friday.)

P.S. I just received an e-mail from CSN that your hot chocolate maker is on back order, but will shipped around the 19th. I was hoping you would have it by now. Hot chocolate always helps with getting well faster!
