The Black Dog and me...Taggart. Brynwood Needleworks |
Hi, Everybody!
It's me again...and my shadow.
Dad is in Wisconsin for a little visit, so Mom, The Black Dog and I are holdin' down the fort.
'cept, if you ask me, I'm the only one doin' my job. Mom is mostly in meetin's and the studio, Bella is bein' a huge pain in the butt, and I'm busy keepin' the premises safe from mailmen and stuff.

We actually practice this look when she's not around. It comes in real handy when we're moochin' for treats or lobbyin' for a car ride. She loves this look and we can get away with all sorts of shenanigans if we execute "the look" just right.
Anyway...We always answer, "Of COURSE we wanna go swimmin'! Are you kiddin'?" Then we run to the door and carry on until she gets her swimsuit on and opens the door. That's when we blast out and jump in the water! Every time.
As a matter of fact, the waterfall is callin' so
I'll see you again in seven! 'til then...
"Chase A Dream - Or A Squirrel".
How funny. I have 3 dogs and none will step foot outside in the rain, but love to jump in our Koi pond. Go figure.

Tag, it sure sounds like you are doing a great job at holdin' down the fort! Keep up the good work. And, keep that black dog in her place. ~grin~
ReplyDeleteTag you should teach my daughter's dog "Dingo" how to swim. They have their very own swimming pool and yet Dingo does not go in it at all. She tried once to teach him some pool safety but that was the beginning and the end. He runs and hides when she gets in the pool and calls him to go swimming. Yes, "that look" would get me every time too! Enjoy your chasing...
ReplyDeleteHi Tag and Bella too, Sounds like you have everything under control. It is a difficult task training our humans. But eventually they know we are the ones in charge. Take care and keep up the good work. High paws, Cooper and Max
