I thought you might enjoy a mosaic of all the quilts I created in 2010. It was a busy and satisfying year for me, and I hope you enjoyed my creative process. There were thirteen quilts total, although I'll probably make two more small quilts before the end of the month...one for Kes and one for Fezzik. Santa asked me to do it for him, and I'm all to happy to add new quilts to the list for my two dogs.
Among these finished pieces are one king size quilt, a queen size and a twin. There are a few children's quilts, and the rest are medium or large lap quilts. In our home, most of the larger lap quilts are used as table covers, which always tickles our guests.
The quilts (from top left to right) "Faerie Glen" quilt, "Butterfly Baby" quilt, "Williamsburg Welcome" quilt, "Forest Floor" quilt. Second row: French General "Rouennieres" quilt, (center) "Charmed, I'm Sure", "Love Birds" applique' quilt. Third row: "Spring Magic" quilt, "Whispering Windmills" quilt. Bottom Row: "Nantucket" quilt, "Lavender Dreams" quilt, "Dolphin Island" quilt and "The Explorer" quilt. (As usual, you can click on the mosaic for a closer look.)
A very good year for quilts, indeed.
Hi Donna! You accomplished so much this year. It's a good thing you didn't ask me to chose a favorite because I could never do it!
ReplyDeleteI hope y'all are enjoying this holiday season. I bet you're as busy as can be. Enjoy it all.
Love...Tracy :)

Such an accomplishment - They are beautiful !!!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful year full of quilts! They are all so pretty. I notice that you like lighter colors - pink, purple, yellow. Did you always, or do you think that is influenced by living in a warm state? I ask because I was thinking the other day that all my work is too dark, and I think it's because it is cold here so much of the time. I'll bet you don't see many dark colors being sold in Florida!
ReplyDeleteI do believe you had a most productive year! I love them all! Kinda fun to stand back and look at all of them isn't it?
