Catching My Breath...

Wild Prairie Fleabane From Our Yard
I was so busy yesterday. Haircut, grocery shopping, deliveries, home, and unload groceries...I was gone most of the day, so when I got home, I just wanted to put my feet up and enjoy a cuppa tea after I was finished.

So, that's what I did. I brought dinner home with me (ready made), so Handsome made a cuppa for me, and we watched baseball. Our team isn't in the playoffs, but after watching baseball all season, I realized I love watching the game even if our team is out.

My day didn't go as planned. I'll get back to work today, and I'll make up for lost time. I got good rest last night, and I can tackle my tasks refreshed and with enthusiasm. It's just what I needed. Listings coming soon!

  1. Sounds like you had a busy day, glad you got some rest.
I see those pretty flowers in our yard sometimes.
Some weeds are so pretty, I love Thistles & Queen Anne's Lace.

    1. Hi Marilyn:
I slept like a log last night. I was pretty dang tired. I didn't look yesterday, but a few days ago, they were still blooming in our yard! Queen Anne's Lace is my favorite wildflower, but I love the sweet blossoms of the fleabane, too. Thistles are beautiful, but after they bloom, they make more spikey thistles. They're still beautiful, either way.
I hope you have a restful weekend.

  2. Some days are like that despite our best efforts to the contrary. Good for you to bring supper home with you and not have to face cooking on top of your busy day.

    1. Hi MA:
That's so true! Yes. I didn't have "making dinner" left in me by the time I got back home. We ate early, so later on, I did a little cheese/sausage tray for us. The perfect snack for the rest of the evening.
I hope you have a nice weekend.
