| Brynwood Needleworks - Anchor™ Stranded Cotton Floss Assortment |
Oh, my goodness! Another box of needlework goodness arrived two days ago. The open box revealed more gorgeous, pastel-colored linens, a few other treasures, and...a nearly complete Anchor™ floss assortment, complete with Anchor's color card pamphlet.
I've always been a huge fan of Anchor threads, so receiving this was a wonderful surprise. When I called my girlfriend to thank her, I learned there's more coming, so I was fairly giddy. As I'm going to be doing more needlework in the future, having these threads are a welcome addition to my studio. Now, all I need to do is figure out how I'm going to store them!

ReplyDeleteI've been reading that JoAnn's carries Anchor on spools, but the one out here doesn't seem to be getting them.

Oh wow - you're going to be stalking your postal employee if treasures like these keep showing up! I was excited when the mailman brought my order of half a dozen skeins of floss the other day and I can only begin to imagine how you felt when all this popped out of your mailbox. Lucky you!!!!

Anchor is my favorite floss too. I still have my whole assortment from my designing/teaching days.

DeleteI had mine, too, but after all these years, my supply was severely diminished. I'm so grateful to have a new supply. I used to design with Anchor™ as my first choice.
