After seeing all my colorful fabrics lined up in the cabinet, I decided to share more colors from my studio. Brynwood is always awash with colors in the form of fabrics, but the threads are more often protected in drawers and I only see them when I am in need of a particular hue.
It's a shame, really. The beautiful threads inside those drawers always make me happy when I see them.
Most of the spools in the top drawers are cottons, with a few polyester shades for garment sewing. I also have some gorgeous, vintage silks, which I save for special projects.
But the shiny, rayon spools help me to create wonderful machine embroidered designs. I look inside these drawers and see all the colors of the rainbow...all the colors for my creative endeavors...
