Hi Everybody!
I hope you had a great holiday weekend.
Mom says she likes those holidays where we all relax
to show our appreciation for everybody who works hard.
On Friday, Mom took a tv break and turned on the Food Channel.
(Something about a little "dinner inspiration".)
I was lying on the tile floor near Dad's office,
'cuz it's one of my favorite chillaxin' spots.
The show Mom turned on was Ina Garten's "Barefoot Contessa".
She has a nice relaxing voice and Mom likes her recipes.
Anyway, I heard a voice that sounded like a little kid.
Did I tell you how much I like love adore little kids?
I high-tailed it into the living room and saw Miss Ina.
Nope, that wasn't the voice I heard.
Then I heard the voice again.
I had to sit down and watch the tv for a minute.
"I'm not blockin' the view, am I Mom?"
"No, Taglet. I can see just fine."
Mom said this little guy's name is "Elmo".
He was helping Miss Ina cook.
I've decided I love Elmo!
"Hey! Whatcha lookin' at?"
I didn't wanna miss a single second, so I decided
to flop right down and watch the whole show!
I can't remember how to cook what Elmo made,
but I won't forget Elmo soon.
Mom said that they make little stuffed "Tickle Me Elmo" dolls.
Hmmm. I think I might like to have one of those.
I'll be watching a little more tv, so I hope you
don't think I'm rude if I don't see you out today.
I hope you'll come back and see me again next week.
'til then...
"More Waggin' and Less Barkin'!"
