Yesterday would have been my sister, Lyn's 70th birthday. This is her second celebration in Heaven. I know she and Dad celebrated with the rest of our loved ones who went before, but those of us she left behind sure wish she could have celebrated with us.
This photograph was taken just after I turned 50. I'd like to think we would have celebrated this birthday with another photo shoot. It wasn't to be, but I wanted my daily diary blog to reflect that she was in my heart and on our minds, today and every day. Love never dies...
Happy Birthday, Lyndy.

Happy Heavenly Birthday to your sister, great picture.
ReplyDeleteThat's another son in my head!

Thank you, Marilyn-
DeleteSister Goldenhair was our song. I can still see her dancing to it. I hear her laughter when Diana laughs. I see her face in her daughters. She was my first best friend. I miss her like crazy.

For sure, love never dies.

Great photo.
Happy heavenly birthday Lyn.
Shirley
Hi Shirley-
DeleteI truly believe that, but I know you understand. I miss having her (and Dad) here. Mom Grace, too. So often I want to share something and then remember they're gone. Faith that I'll see them again helps ease the grief, but it never really goes away. We just learn to live with the ache. sigh
Thanks, dear.
Hugs to you, too.
