Stitching The Day Away...

  I'm working on my commission project these days. I finished another one of five yesterday. Each will be a different colorway, but otherwise they'll be the same.

This piece was "in-progress" when I took these pictures. I finished it by the end of the day. Today, I'll continue on the next one and will have them all completed very soon. Although this is a contracted project, it is also a labor of love.
Embroidery is a pursuit that calms, restores and rejuvenates me. Stitching is always a zen experience and it seems that time stands still when I have a needle in my hand. I have to remember to thank my client (and friend) for the request.
