Happy Thanksgiving...

Thank you, Karen from The Graphics Fairy
for the beautiful pilgrim woman for my greeting today.

Turkey with stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, steamed vegetables and that decadent Crustless Pumpkin Pie (recipe here) from Coming Home..not too much, but just enough. It's so good to remember how this great nation began that we might continue in it's most basic traditions. This tradition - shared tradition with our forefathers - carried on in the hearts and homes of Americans everywhere. Blessings repeated across the years and across the miles.

So many things for which I'm thankful...My husband and our family, good friends, good health and happiness. But this year, I also want to thank each and every one of you for making me feel so wanted and welcome. Thank you for caring enough to leave comments for me so that I knew you were even out there. Thank you for enriching my life and inspiring me to be a better person. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Today is the last day that you can comment on my blog to earn chances to win my 200th Post Giveaway. I'm so grateful to all of you for your enthusiastic response to my celebration! I'll announce the winner on Saturday morning. Good luck to everyone.

Wishing you love, family, good health and "just enough".

Among all my blessings is the opportunity to have met you.. to have become friends.. to be in awe of your multitude of talents while being one of the kindest, trustworthy, and humble people I know ( I know that is as gushy as pecan coated pumpkin pie with globs of whipped cream) When i get "blue" I think of your inspiration an go to your blog.. much love and joy..susan
