Ellie's Puppy Purse |
So, here's my dilemma...I've been planning to make the sweet dress for Wynter that I shared with you earlier this week. Then, I was reminded that I made this purse for her older sister, and had promised a little kitty purse for her.
So, now do I make the kitten purse as originally planned, or change direction? I haven't cut fabric for either yet. (Wynter does have a living, breathing, light gray kitty, so I'd use that as a base color in cork.)
Help! Feedback appreciated.
If you want my opinion (and you DID ask)...kids have good memories and if you promised her a purse I think you should carry through. No doubt she will have remembered and might be disappointed if she doesn't get one like her older sister has. Just my two cents!
ReplyDeleteI think you have to make the kitty purse (IMHO)...kids have amazing memories.
ReplyDeleteWhile the dress would be absolutely beautiful (and probably more appreciated by Mom, seeing her little beauty so dressed up), I have a pretty strong feeling that an adorable kitten purse would be most appreciated and cherished by Wynter. My vote is the purse; plus, I totally agree with the comment by "Magpie's Mumblings". And she won't "grow out" of the purse as quickly... so, there's another two cents for you (-;
ReplyDeletePurse is more fun to use!!
ReplyDeleteTwo cents from Arizona- their memories are like steel! The purse! Why not surprise them with Easter dresses that are same pattern but different fabrics? I’m trying to keep you busy!
