Almost There...

Brynwood Needleworks - Hibiscus Cork

This new technique is taking me a little longer to perfect than I originally anticipated, but I'm getting there. Of course, I have high standards for my finished creations, so I don't rush my process. The good news is that I've got it all figured out now, and plan to use what I've learned moving forward.

I'm now ready to assemble all these components, so I'll be working toward finished products today. I think they'll be gorgeous, and I'm intending to carry one of these myself. I'm smitten with this cork.

I also have new orders that need my attention. I'll be making up new Traveler's Clutches for clients - and to restock my shop. There are Corgi Pincushions to fill, with more to make for the shop, too.

Handsome has a week with the Windjammers (and circus music!) ahead of him. It's time for their winter convention. That will leave Tag, Bella and me to hold down the fort...and I'll be working playing longer hours to finish restocking my shop. You know where to find me.

Tag will be back tomorrow. He always has something on his mind, and this week will be no exception.

Make this week a great one. If you're in snow country, please stay safe and warm. If you don't have snow, you probably have cold or colder weather. Heck, it's even nippier in southwest Florida. (It was 39º here last night!) With a high expected of 68º today, is perfect for a week in the studio!

  1. Sitting here on Sunday evening with torrential rain and the power has just gone out. Thankfully I charged my iPad just earlier today. Enjoy your week of amazing studio time creating fabulous items for commissions and your etsy shoppe. Blissful Creating Dear...XO

  2. Thanks so much, Sherry! We had energy blips all day Saturday. I was pretty frustrated, as I was trying to watch a long tutorial and it kept kicking my computer off (and I'd have to start all over!) I finally got through it, and we needed the rain, so I stopped complaining. Good thing Handsome was busy playing music all day. He didn't have to listen to my whining! lol
Have a wonderful week, my friend.

  3. Hi Donna,
I am new to your blog. I admire the energy you put into your creativity! Buying a farm, taking care of two sweet dogs, and probably a lot of other things I don't know about you yet.
I love Tuesdays with Tag! He is a super Corgi. "He" is a hoot!
Just thought I would introduce myself. I am looking forward to watching your renovation at the farm.
    Warm regards,
    Pat
