Hi, Everybody!

I hope all the moms out there had a nice weekend. I know we went out of our way to make Mom's special for her. Dad had a few surprises up his sleeve; Bella and I only teased to go outside half as much as we usually do; and Mom spent most of the weekend just hangin' out with all of us.

Here's my version of the Mother's Day Song for Mom:

M is for the Million treats she gives me...

O means Only that she puts me first...

T is for the Times she takes me for car rides...

H is How she never lets me thirst.

E is Every time she calls I'm comin'...

R is Right for me she'll always be...

Put them all together, they spell "MOM".

What? That's enough "mushy" for me. Bella wrote most of the words anyway. I got a reputation to worry about, after all. I'll cuddle for treats. (Don't tell anyone!)

The whole point of a holiday weekend is to relax. I think I excelled on that score! Bella is like a little Loch Ness Monster. It's hard to keep her out of the water...she might be startin' to grow scales. I think I even noticed gills last time I looked. I got tired just watchin' her. whew!

Brynwood Needleworks - Dad and Me

Mom did go into the studio once - I think she went in there to get a magazine she was lookin' for. When she came back to the living room, here we were smilin' like we got caught. "What? We didn't do anythin'!" Mom just laughed at both of us. Then, she told us we are her BESTEST guys. (We think she's right, too!)

We're startin' to plan our summer trip, so Bella and I eavesdropped listened while Mom and Dad compared calendars and schedules. We're lookin' forward to time with family and friends up north and we'll start gettin' my Flyin' Cloud ready soon.

So, I guess I'd better get crackin' this week if I'm gonna have anythin' remotely interestin' to share next time you visit. I don't want you to be bored, after all.
