Brynwood Needleworks - Flour Sack Fabrics |
I recently saw a fabulous quilt created using flour sacks, cut into quilt blocks. They were colorful and perfect for a quilt in a 1930s theme. I immediately thought about my most recent gift from a good blog friend, Marydon.

Over the course of the next twelve months, I'm going to find time to make two, traditional block flour sack quilts from these fabrics. Aren't they wonderful?

I need to decide which block pattern(s) I'll use, but I promise to keep you posted when I start this one.
Remember, I've promised to finish those UFOs first. In fact, I'm already working on one of them. I'll show you pictures of that one tomorrow.
