A lot of good rest overnight and starting with a clear head yesterday morning...
that's all it took to work through the problems I had with my current project.
I read - and then re-read - the instructions, and then I set about correctly
assembling the first three borders (and appliqued' corners) on my quilt project.
Funny how daylight made everything so much easier! It went together
like a dream...considering that I went to sleep more than a little flustered.
Today I'll be adding more blocks and borders. I'm quite sure that by
the end of the day, I'll have this entire, cheerful quilt top finished.
If you haven't visited in the past week, you might want to head
over to this post to enter my 1600th Post Giveaway. You only have
until Friday. I'll announce the winners on Saturday. Good Luck!
Nothing like a good nights sleep to clear the cobwebs!

ReplyDeleteDoes read instructions twice compare to measure twice, cut once? Thankfully you got a good nights sleep and made excellent progress on this beautiful quilt top. Simply stunning dear...
