I've finished a set of six two-sided napkins and six coordinating placemats. The napkins feature roosters on one side, and chicks on the other. They measure 18" square and are made from 100% cotton.
I didn't choose matching placemats so that they can be used separately with other napkins. They have a light fabric on one side, and I used the same fabric on the back that is on the binding for two completely different looks.
I have a list of projects that I'll need to finish to ship out by the 15th. This one is taken care of, but I still have other items on my list.
Let's see...
- 3 pairs of Grammies Jammies
- a lap quilt
- small wall quilt
- a stuffed animal
- a couple of totes
- two garment bags
- mug mats
- my Blissfull ATC swap card for Dec.
- ...and a few other items that I'll complete after the 15th and before the 20th. whew!
I love the baby chick fabric! Can't wait to see what you're making next, Donna.
ReplyDeleteAwesome Danna..Where did you get that fabric? I have Chickens and Roosters in my kitchen and fabric like that would make awesome covers for my countertop appliances.
ReplyDeleteYou are going to be a very busy lady...I still have a long list and am hoping to get all my gifts in the mail by Monday..It is getting to close for me to take any time off (except to leave a comment in here though) :)
Well, you sure have a lot of projects to complete, but I bet you are glad to have your mind off a short legged project derailer!
ReplyDeleteWow you either are the fastest stitch in Florida or you have elves! Either way I love the fabric choices especially the one with the little yellow chicks, it brought a smile to my face this morning!
ReplyDeleteHave fun sewing...

I'm like you Donna, I've got a million things to get done to ship out! Busy, busy, busy!! Good luck!
ReplyDeleteLovely placemats, Donna. I don't want to swap lists with you!- I only have a small wallhanging and the borders on my Xmas quilt to do- the quilt has been a WIP for a few years now, but I did manage to handquilt it this past Winter. :)
ReplyDeleteThat's an ambitious list! Twyla
ReplyDeleteYour gift list is extensive, yet I know you will get everything and more done...exquisitely! This placement napkin set is wonderful. Happy stitching dear...
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! That list would overwhelm me. Straight away.

These are darling and your work is so perfect. I don't know how you do it all.
ReplyDeleteCute placemats and napkins Donna! Gee, I thought I had a lot to do in the next week, but you win! I only have about 8 pairs of fleece jammy pants to make and then I can ship my boxes, everything else is done. I'll be praying for your stamina! :) Karen
