Finished Christmas Quilt...

It's finished and ready to mail out to its new home!
I quilted (loosely, for a more prim look) around the motifs, and I even added a special little quilted motif.
Look where the yellow (sort of) oval is. I couldn't resist, and the snowmen looked like they could use the company.  Still can't see it (even if you click on the photo to enlarge it?) Here. I'll give you a closer look...
A Christmas Corgi!
The red star border is quilted with hearts, lines for the checkered fabric and then I finished the last snowflake border with a little "needle dancing" (what I call meandering). I sure hope the person receiving it likes it!

Before I close this post, I'd like to thank everyone who entered my impromptu giveaway yesterday. I love giving away gifts, but I sure don't like the "choosing" part. Thank goodness for Random Number Generator!
Congratulations to
Mandy of Crazy Daisy
(and three other blogs!)

Mandy, thanks for always coming to visit Brynwood and leaving comments for me. Please send me your address so I can get your fabric assortment on its way.

Oh, the quilt turned out so nice. I love the little Corgi touch you added. Makes me think of Fez, there in the background of our thoughts.
I guess you are making a trip to camp this week, how is our boy doing?

Donna,
You've been such a busy girl! Of course when aren't you?! The Christmas quilt is beautiful, congrats to Mandy, I'm sure she'll treasure it always. Love your seasonal banner & your 'to do' list. Mine is simple 'try not to bankrupt the family over the holidays & remember to breathe' LOL
Good to catch up with your blog Donna. Hope your enjoying the season.

Donna, I've been AWOL and what a treat to return and see this oh-so-homey quilt! I love it! It really "says" winter and Christmas combined and should be a comfy treasure for your "giftee".

Stitching hugs,
Diane (who has been crocheting lately instead of playing with fabrics for a few days.) :-)
