Autumn Is Here...

I spent part of the day in the studio yesterday.
I love being back at my machines and creating pretty things...
even when they have a spooky theme!
I chose a vintage peach-colored button to embellish the muslin flower.
It's my subtle nod to Halloween pumpkins. Hardly my scariest effort,
but I think the pillow cover will fit in nicely with any decor.
I might have to make an extra one for myself!

This is one of the pillow covers that I'll gift to two lucky winners in my
800th Plus Post Giveaway. It's made to fit a 16" pillow form.
If you haven't entered the giveaway yet, just click here.
My Autumn issue of Jeanne d'Arc Living magazine arrived yesterday, too.
I'm going to make a cup of tea, grab this issue
and spend a little time enjoying the beauty within its pages.
If you'd like your own copy, I ordered mine from The Beautiful Life.

PS. Do you like my new background? I decided on a soft, quiet theme for Autumn.

  3. I was starting to get in the fall mode, but then the weather turned warmer. The question is: Is this Indian summer since we have had one frost? It will be interesting to find out. My squirrels have come back home from the woods and are visiting my feeders on a regular basis again.

Summer is in the air again, but not for long.

  12. Hi Donna, I really like the pillow and I am glad you are back in the studio. I finished one of my Christmas pillowcases tonight. I am on my third comment tonight. So far, I haven't lost any or posted it more then once. So Much fun. Looking forward to next week to our trip. I enjoyed your post about Tag. He reminds me of Shorty, my oldest two grandson's corgi. They are so much fun to watch. It is fun to see whether he does the herding or whether Spots, the blue healer does. Have a great day Hugs from Your Missouri Friend.
