Well, I'm here to announce that Taggart is a "fetching fool"! Actually, he's a natural! He needs to learn delivering to hand (including turning to return the dummy instead of running for the hills), but it's so much fun to see his enthusiasm.
When he reaches the tossed dummy, he snatches it up as he runs past. He's going to make sure it doesn't get away! We won't even talk about how fast these little dogs can run.
Look at his style! Hanging on to his prize until Handsome can take it from him. He's already thinking about what's next! ("Come on, Dad! Throw another one!")
Just like in the movie, Babe. "That'll do, pig. That'll do." We'll
"More wagging and less barking!"
Tuesday already! The week flies by quickly.
ReplyDeleteNow you've done it. Changed a short legged pixie into a fetcher. Don't you dare try to make his ears flap when he's at full pace!!
xx, Carol
Wish I could watch those little legs run! He is so cute! Very smart, too! Have a great day, Donna! Twyla
ReplyDeleteWay to go little Tag! I bet he is a hoot running full tilt for the hills on those precious wee legs! It makes me smile just to think of it....
ReplyDeleteHave a great day all and a big hug to Tag!

When I saw the title and the photo....I was not sure which one you were talking about! LOL The "come back lead" would come in handy around here!

You can see that he's loving it. When does the video come out?
ReplyDeleteLovely pictures, Donna. I am well aware of how fast those little Corgi legs can go! We had a couple of real hot days here and I booked Honey in for a bath and clip as she was obviously feeling the heat so much, she is due for the clip tomorrow and the weather has reverted back to quite cool and rainy! :(
ReplyDeleteThat is just so sweet! He looks like he's having the greatest time. What a cutie pie. :) Glad the training (oop...play) is going well!

Hi Donna, I am having a little me time this evening to catch up with my friends in blogland. The week is flying much to fast and I am hating to see Thursday cone. Our son is heading for Kenner, Louisiana for a new job. We are spending as much time as possible with him. Your Tag is so cute. Shorty"the kid's corgi" was having a lot of fun running with the boys. I can still see him hopping like a rabbit in the snow. Have a great day. Your Missouri Friend.
ReplyDeleteHe sure is a cutie and clever too.
ReplyDeleteSuch a smart boy he is!
ReplyDeleteGo Tag! He's so adorable...I want to squeeze him.
ReplyDeleteWe finally got Henry to catch his frisbee in the air. These little furballs sure love to play. : )
Have a great weekend!
