We arrived home yesterday.
It really was a wonderful motorcycle trip -
just Handsome and me.
We traveled just over four hundred miles of Florida's
back roads and highways...through State lands and
quaint small towns. In sunshine and rain.
It's impossible to take photographs from a moving motorcycle
(when you're driving your own and not riding on the back)
so there aren't photographs to share this time.
The only images are memories, embedded in my mind.
We did see LOTS of dragonflies on this trip,
so I want to share a
beautiful dragonfly image courtesy of Abigail
from The Vintage Moth.
If you haven't checked out her free images before,
you'll want to go and see what she has to offer.
This image is yours to use for your artwork.
Thank you Abigail!
I have a link at the top of my blog called "Favorites".
You might want to visit the page to see all my links
to superb resources for free art images, blog services,
free patterns, inspiration and so much more.
In fact, if you have a resource that you really like that
I haven't mentioned there, please let me know so that
I can visit the site. Perhaps I can add it to my list!
No matter where we travel, there really is no place like home.

What a lovely image to remind you of all those dragonflies.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the link too.
I so love dragonflies, especially those similar to the long-tailed one in the middle. Larry always said that when they land on your fishing pole, they bring good luck. Not that I am at all superstitious, but now I say the same to the grandkids. I hope that when I am able to build my house on the lake, I will be able to afford a stained glass inset of dragonflies in blues and greens for my front door.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for entering my giveaway and for posting about it! You now have 3 entries! Best of luck.

Just wanted to say welcome home and glad you had a safe trip.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you made it back safe and sound!
ReplyDeleteI am a huge fan of dragonflies. My favorite lamp is a Tiffany dragonfly lamp.
Have a wonderful week!
